Happy New Year Chapter: 22

Summary: Dana, Jonathan, Martha, Lois, Clark and Kara are spending the new year as a family. Will they have fun and watch the ball drop? Will Kara fall asleep or stay up late?

Dana, Jonathan, Martha, Lois, Clark and I are still sleeping. Once we wake up, they get dressed and brush their teeth.

"Now that it's New Year's Eve we can begin the new year" I said.

I brush my teeth, and hair I often wear in a bushy ponytail with long parted bangs, wear pale face makeup and peach eye shadow around my eyelids, under my eyebrows, above my cheekbones and black lipstick.

"This is our first New Year as a family" Jonathan said.

"Let's hope Kara is fine not worried like on Christmas" Martha said.

After I get my hair and makeup done, I walk into my room, to my closet, pick out my favorite black outfit, necklace Clark gave me, glasses and combat boots, put them on I walk over to the fireplace and put more wood in the fire so it's comfortable for all of us. We all sit and relax enjoying time together.

"Wow our first New Year's Eve as a family is cool" Dana said.

"Yeah, finally spending family time together" Lois said.

They drink their hot coffee while I relax and rest on his lap. They watch Christmas movies while I lay there calm and relaxed without worrying since I am spending time with my family.

"This is what I really needed" I said to myself.

I suck on the bottle of warm milk and watch some of the movie but fall fast asleep. They all smile at me and go back to watching the movie.

"I see she's finally calm and relaxed without worrying like on Christmas when she got those gifts from Gretchen, Miranda, Arianna, Nigel and Lex" Jonathan, Martha, and Dana said.

"Your right Kara finally is which she needs she's safe with us but more with Clark" Lois said.

Clark makes me more comfortable while I am sleeping, he smiles at me.

"My little princess is safe calm relaxed I love you so much" Clark said.

I open my eyes, look at him and smile.

"Yeah, I am I'm safer with you love you so much too" I said.

I close my eyes and fall back asleep relaxed. It's New Year's Eve and we are all watching the ball drop. Once the ball is down, we all say Happy New Year but I'm sleeping so they don't disturb me because they know I need to sleep.

"Best New Year ever" I said to myself.

Once the tv is off and the fireplace is burned out we relax. When 1 am comes we all head to bed.

"Happy New Year everyone" Jonathan, Martha and Dana said.

"You too" Lois, Clark and I said.

We all finally sleep through the night and wake up whenever we want to since we don't have to do anything until later.

"I am finally safe with my family but mostly Clark" I said.

Once morning comes, we are all still sleeping until 11am when we all wake up do our routines and relax by the fire watching a new non-Christmas movie, rest and relax with our hot drinks and cookies.
