Barbecue at the Cushing Home Chapter: 4

Summary: The Kent Family bring Kara to the Cushing Barbecue so they can meet her. Tegan, Sarah, Jon and Jordan notice Kara is anxious and worried about something she needs to tell them but not in front of their parents. Will she tell them what's bothering her? Will they see the embarrassing photos of Jimmy, Sean, Timmy and her them assaulting her so she can be humiliated? Will Sam, Lois and Clark see them?

Once morning comes I wake up go across the hall to the bathroom, brush my teeth, and hair I often wear in a ponytail with long parted bangs, wear pale face makeup, peach eye shadow around my eyelids, under my eyebrows, above my cheekbones and wear red lipstick.

"Today I finally meet Sarah's family I'm excited but worried that they will ask me what's wrong I can't tell them" I said.

After I get my hair and makeup done, I walk into my room, to my closet, pick out my favorite outfit and comfortable shoes put them on fast, grab my phone putting it in my pocket, walk downstairs. Sam, Jon, Jordan Lois, Clark and I get in the truck and drive to the Cushing House for the barbecue. We finally arrive and end up in their backyard.

"Hey Lois, Clark who is this charming girl" Kyle said.

Lois and Clark look at them.

"Kyle, Lana this is my cousin Kara Danvers this is Kyle, Lana and Sophie Cushing" Clark said.

I look at them.

"Nice to meet you finally" I said.

"Nice to meet you too" Kyle and Lana said.

While they are talking I find Tegan, Sarah, Jon and Jordan I walk over to them. They look at me worried.

"Hey Kara is something bothering you?" Tegan said.

I look at them.

"I'm fine is there a place we can talk in private I don't want Lois and Clark to know just yet this is between us for now?" I said.

Tegan, Sarah, Jon, Jordan and I go somewhere we can talk. We find a spot with just us and look around just in case we aren't alone. We sit down and have our phones out just in case. They are very worried about me, my nose and mouth are bleeding again but I ignore it.

"I'm sure whatever is bothering you we will find out" Sarah said.

"When we go to school just be calm eventually our parents will find out and want you to explain" Jon said.

"Yeah just try to tell them calmly I'm sure they will understand" Jordan said.

Our phones go off and we see the photos that Jimmy, Sean and Timmy took of us and me during my 3 ordeals and the predicament I am in twice they look shocked.

"You have to be kidding me now when everyone sees these photos I will be humiliated and embarrassed" I said.

"I'm sure they will forget about it on Monday" Tegan said.

"Yeah just don't worry" Sarah said.

"Let's see what our parents will do when they see them" Jon said.

"I'm sure they will talk about it and help you out" Jordan said.

I hug them all we get up, and go back to the barbecue to have fun. They are worried about me as are Kyle, Lana, Sophie, Sam, Lois and Clark. They go back to having fun I am sitting in the tree trying to relax but can't. I take a few deep breaths, jump out of the tree and land on my feet. I use my freeze breath on the rag and put it over my nose and mouth.

"Guys is Kara ok because she looked worried when she found all 4 of you?" Kyle said.

"Yes dad she's fine don't worry" Sarah said.
