Trevon took a step into the studio, his nerves pumping as soon as he stepped into his home away from home—only this time was different. Today was his meeting with Eastside Juan and he wanted to make a good impression even though he had the opportunity in the bag.
Trevon's eyes looked around the studio, taking in the scenery gaining the sense of home. One half was the booth where he laid all of his emotions out on the table—the other was a new scene for him business wise.
He sat down in the rolling chair, tapping his index finger against the arm rest. His nerves began to get the best of him as his hands grew slightly shaking and his heart felt as if it were going to burst through his chest.
The studio door swung open, catching his attention as he watched Juan walk in taking a seat across from him. The two reached across the table, shaking the other's hand before continuing the meeting—a small sense of relief washing through him.
"So," Juan said, glancing over the paperwork he had in his hands. "I told you, your music is really good. I believe if we start this off smoothly you can be main stream."
"What's your ideas?" Trevon asked, fidgeting with the small stubble underneath his chin.
"I'm thinking I can get you in with another main stream artist, Tee Grizzley, it can put your music out there. I mean yo music with Sada and shit already got small amounts of streams but if you put them on all platforms you'll be recognized some more."
"Ight I like the sound of that," Trevon said, nodding in agreement to what he heard so far. The small feeling of his heart beating rapidly in his chest as they held their conversation.
Trevon wasn't the type to show an emotion, especially when it came to his business. He preferred to talk business and move logical without any emotional attachment.
"Cool," Juan said, leaning back and rubbing his fingers gently through his beard. "You wanna talk to Sada before you get to working with Tee. I know they got some type of beef going on and I don't want to put you in the middle."
"Yeah," Trevon said with a shrug. "Sada ain't trippin 'bout business."
Although he wore a poker face, his mind began to wonder rapidly. This was his chance—his moment but was it worth possibly damaging his brotherhood with Sada? He was worried on the inside because no matter how much he wanted to be successful—his loyalty mattered so much more.
Sada and Trevon had been close before any of his beef with Tee. He knew Trevon since he was about nineteen years old, looking for a quick way to make money, luckily he took him under his wing and got him to dumping. The music eventually became his passion and an outlet from life due to his father's passing.
