Arianna and Rae walked into her home, the light autumn breeze blew in the home, desperately removing themselves from the cold weather. The babies giggling behind them, talking amongst themselves about gymnastics.

All of them had just came from the girls' gymnastics class and they ended up spending the whole day together. Arianna needing the personal time with her best friend to escape her relationship issues.

Ayla giggled as she made her way to her room, Raeleigh followed close behind, leaving their mothers alone in the living room. Arianna walked over to the tv, turning on Netflix so they could pick up from the last episode of Wednesday.

"Girl," Rae said, a small sigh escaping her lips before they curved into an expression of mock hurt. She slightly shivered from the climate change—from cool air to a warm home. "Why haven't I seen my brother in a week?"

Arianna glance up, her eyes narrowing from the question. "Respectfully, Fuck yo brother."

Rae jerked her head back, her face covered in confusion. "The hell you mean—y'all arguing or something?"

"Yes," Arianna simply stated, as she sat back and let out a sigh relief.

Rae sat down beside her, her eyebrow raising with her curiosity at its peak. "What he do to you?"

Arianna jaw clenched, the memory of the small dispute playing on repeat in her mind. "He said it was me—I ain't do shit."

Rae stared at her best friend, her eyes narrowing at her slightly. "What exactly happened?"

"He basically made it seem like I take my issues out on him—when really I don't like feel I do that much." Arianna said, a small sigh escaping her lips.

Rae shook her head, chuckling at Arianna's summary. Her best friend has always assumed that she wasn't lenient with DeMario—she was. Everyone around her or that had seen the two interact would agree with Trevon.

"Girl you have to start taking accountability for what you go through—especially when it comes to DeMario."  Rae said, making Arianna glance over with her eyebrows furrowed.

"I do," Arianna said, her eyes clouded with emotion as her defensive walls covered her. "I just didn't feel like I had to talk to him about that...it was too fresh."

"Then why didn't you tell him that?" Rae questioned, her tone coming off gentle and calming.

Arianna's face softened, allowing Rae's soothing tone to calm her defense down. "I did."
