Gabby stretched out in the massive bed, the sunlight spilling through the sheer curtains. Zay was laying next to her, his arm draped lazily across her waist.
"You just can't keep your hands off me, huh?" Gabby teased, smirking at him.
Zay rolled over, pulling her closer. "Nope. And you can't keep your hands off me either, so stop playin'."
She laughed softly, brushing his face with her fingers. "I mean... you not wrong. But baby, my body is hurting. You been folding me up for two days like I'm in the Olympics or somethin'."
Zay chuckled, planting a soft kiss on her lips. "That's 'cause I love bein' in your skin, G. Can't help it."
Gabby laughed, pushing him playfully. "Boy, you crazy! But for real, we gotta go get a massage or somethin'. My back is screaming."
Zay grinned. "Aight, I'll book somethin' at the spa. But don't act like you ain't love every second of it."
Gabby shook her head, laughing. "Let's get up and shower before you start somethin' again. We ain't never gon' leave this room at this rate."
The Spa Experience
An hour later, they were at the resort's luxury spa, dressed in plush robes and sipping on herbal tea. Gabby leaned back in her chair, letting out a sigh of relief.
"This is what I needed," she said, glancing at Zay.
"I told you I got you," he replied, giving her a wink.
The massage was exactly what Gabby's sore body needed. As the therapists worked out the tension, she closed her eyes, feeling every knot disappear.
Afterward, they sat in the relaxation lounge, enjoying the calm atmosphere. Zay leaned over, brushing a strand of hair from Gabby's face.
"You look so peaceful right now," he said, his voice low.
"That's 'cause I am," Gabby replied. "You do that for me, you know? You make me feel safe."
Zay smiled, kissing her forehead. "Good. 'Cause that's all I ever want for you."
Back to the Villa
They spent the rest of the day lounging on their private deck, eating fresh fruit and laughing about old memories. As the sun began to set, Gabby looked at Zay, her heart full.
"I never thought I could be this happy," she admitted, her voice soft.
Zay pulled her into his lap, cradling her face in his hands. "That's how it's always gon' be, G. You and me, happy as hell, forever."
Gabby smiled, leaning in for a kiss. "Forever."
