A few more months passed, and Gabby's candle business was on fire. She was pushing out custom orders, launching new scents, and her website traffic was through the roof. With the new partnership, things were lookin' real good. Zay was more than just a boyfriend—he was her business partner, her motivator, and her biggest supporter. She couldn't help but feel blessed.

But success don't come easy. Gabby was putting in long hours, and sometimes she'd find herself up late, making candles or answering emails, trying to stay ahead. But through it all, Zay was right there with her. He made sure she wasn't working herself into the ground, showing up with food, running errands, and taking care of whatever she needed.

One evening, after a long day, Gabby collapsed onto the couch in Zay's living room, looking exhausted but satisfied.

"You good, baby?" Zay asked, walking in with two glasses of wine.

Gabby looked up at him, smiling. "Yeah, just tired. Been grindin' all day, but it's worth it. My orders are stackin' up."

Zay handed her a glass of wine and sat next to her. "You killin' it, Gabby. I'm proud of you."

She sipped the wine and leaned against him. "I couldn't do it without you. You been holdin' me down from day one."

Zay smirked, rubbing her shoulder. "That's what I'm here for. I got your back. Always."

The Business Moves

Now that her business was picking up, Gabby was ready to take it to the next level. She started collaborating with influencers, getting her candles into some high-end stores, and even thinking about opening her own boutique. She was working hard, but she wasn't doing it alone anymore.

Zay was in her corner, no doubt. He started using some of his contacts to help her expand her reach, putting her in touch with people who could take her business to the top. Gabby had never imagined her life would turn out like this—working for herself, surrounded by people who supported her.

One afternoon, they were both in Zay's office, going over business plans. "I think it's time we open up a spot for the candles," Zay said, pulling up some real estate listings on his laptop.

Gabby raised an eyebrow. "A store?"

"Yeah, a boutique. Something small to start. You can sell your candles, showcase your work, and build a brand around it," Zay explained, already looking through the listings. "I know a few places that might be perfect. We could even get you an office to run the business from."

Gabby was silent for a moment, letting the idea sink in. She didn't know if she was ready for that big of a step, but she trusted Zay. He wasn't pushing her into anything—he was just giving her the tools to succeed.

"I think I'm down," Gabby said finally, looking over at him. "Let's do it."

Zay grinned, proud of her for taking that step. "Aight, let's make it happen, then."

Life Outside the Business

One evening, after a long day of work, Gabby was laying on the couch, scrolling through her phone when Zay came in, fresh out the shower. His hair was still damp, his chest bare, and he looked at her with that same smirk she loved.

"You still up?" Zay asked, flopping down next to her.

"Yeah, just trying to unwind," Gabby said, putting her phone down. "It's a lot, Zay. I don't know if I can keep up this pace forever."

Zay pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her. "You don't gotta do it alone. I'm here. Whatever you need, I got you."

Gabby rested her head on his chest, feeling the warmth of his body against hers. "I know. And I appreciate it. You've been so good to me, Zay. I can't even explain how much it means."

He kissed her forehead, his voice soft but sure. "You're mine, Gabby. Ain't no way I'm lettin' you do this by yourself. We in this together."

Taking it All In

As Gabby sat back and looked at everything she'd accomplished, it felt surreal. The hustle, the grind, the long nights—it was all paying off. And Zay was there, every step of the way, making sure she didn't lose herself in it all.

Her candle business was thriving, and their relationship had reached a level she never thought possible. They were partners in every sense of the word, and for the first time in her life, Gabby felt like she had a real shot at her dreams.

Her heart swelled with gratitude as she realized that she wasn't just building a business—she was building a life. And with Zay by her side, that life was looking better than she ever imagined.
