"Are you ready for tomorrow?"
"For what?"
.
.
"I found him sister"
"You mean that boy?"
"THAT BOY or should I say my prey?"
.
.
I look like you, I dress like you.
I walk like you, I talk like you.
I laugh like you, I cry like you.
BUT
I AM NOT Y...
I had been sitting in the cafe for like ages and the stares of the waiters and waitresses were making me uncomfortable as this was the fourth time in a row that I refused to order something because I felt it would be rude if I filled my stomach before he came. I was about to call him again when I saw a man in formals standing in front of me flashing his signature smile.

"Hello Dr Stewart" he said and took the seat opposite to me.
I felt like giving him a hard slap but I didn't want to ruin his cute face, so I calmed down my hooligan mind and said, "hello Mr Adams, were you busy somewhere?"
"Yes, I was really busy due to some personal issues, so I got late. I am really sorry that you had to wait so long." He said.
"It's okay, I understand." I said and smiled and he also smiled nervously.
"Umm... shall we order something?" He asked.
"Yeah sure" I said and we ordered the food and within a few minutes delicious dishes were served on our table.
We started eating and since he seemed very quiet, I don't know why, so I asked, "So... how was your day today?"
"Huh! I...uh...it was okay." He said.
"Mr Adams you seem quite upset, is something bothering you?" I asked because I felt uncomfortable with his weird kind of silence. Kyle isn't the quiet and shy type, so something didn't feel right to me.
He sighed and said, "Nothing too bothersome though... it's just that I'll be out of the city for a while."
It was clear from his way of talking that some very big thing is troubling him and his trouble was troubling me, so I wanted to read his mind, but only then my heart told me that if there was something worth telling, then why would he hide from me. I should not interfere in someone's personal matter. So, I just smiled and said, "I don't know what the matter is, Mr. Adams, but whatever it is, it will be all right."
He smiled and said, "thank you Dr Stewart and you can call me Kyle."
"Won't it be quite informal?" I asked.
"I don't mind." He said.
"Fine then you should also call me Monica." I said and he nodded with a smile on his face. —————————————————–––– (Maya's POV)
I don't know what new mischief my sister is doing with Kyle and I am getting bored lying here on the bed. Sometimes I feel like making some human boyfriend so that at least I can pass my time but these people are not trustworthy.
As soon as the doorbell rang, I eagerly went to open the door because I thought Monica had arrived and I would tease the hell out of her for having dinner with Kyle but when I opened the door...
"Mayson!" I was shocked to see him.
"Hey!" He said and smiled showing his bunny teeth.

"What are you doing here??" I asked.
"Huh! I... actually I-I was just passing by so thought I should meet you. It has been a while since I saw you... I-I mean you came to the company that day and... you just left so..." He said awkwardly while rubbing his neck which made it hard for me to control my laughter.
It has been a while since I saw you. I repeated his words in my mind and said, "I think we met just a week ago in the hospital... Kyle's accident... remember?"
"Oh! Yeah! I-I remember. I...umm... I'm sorry for bothering you. I think I should go then." He said whispering the last part of the sentence and I immediately stopped him saying, "no no that's alright. Come in."
He came in and I gestured him to sit on the couch. "So you missed me so much that you have come here." I said raising my eyebrows.
"No!" he said abruptly.
"No?" I asked and smirked.
"Yes!...no!...wait. I mean, yes, you were a part of our industry and you had worked with me, so yes, I miss you. I don't think there's anything wrong with that," he said blushingly, which made the situation hilarious.
"No nothing's wrong. Well, would you like to have some coffee?" I asked and he was surprised as he rarely saw me without being curt to him.
"No no please don't bother. I'm fine." He said.
"You are not bothering me at all and since you have travelled a long distance in this cold weather, a cup of hot coffee will give you some relief." I said and went to the kitchen.
A few minutes later, when I came out of the kitchen with two cups of hot coffee, I saw him sitting like a lost puppy. Cute. I thought.
I placed the cups on the table and gestured for him to take it. He took the cup of coffee and said, "Thank you."
"How is your work going?" I asked.
"Everything is going well. I am busy with the new album these days." He said and I nodded.
"What about you? Did you get a new job?" He asked.
"Not yet." I said.
"Oh...um... Maya." He said.
"Hmm?" I said.
"Are you sure you're never joining us?" He asked.
Oh! That's why he came here. I thought and said, "Mayson, it’s not that I don’t like working there, I just… I’m not comfortable working in front of the camera. I… umm… you know I... I like to be anonymous."
He chuckled and said, "since you've already worked with me, everyone knows you now. You can't remain anonymous anymore."
"Time will pass and people will eventually forget me." I said.
"I won't." He said.
"You What?!" I asked.
"I...uh... I mean you are a great dancer and you shouldn't hide your talent behind the camera. I know it's not that easy, but if you ever change your mind, think about it once." He said.
"Say it clearly that you want me to join you." I said.
He sighed and said, "Fine I'm saying it clearly, I want you to join the Star Entertainment again."
"Why? Why me Mayson? It's not like you won't find anyone as good as me." I said.
"Because I don't want anyone but you." He said and I was shocked to hear that, "Huh!"
"I-I think I should leave now. Thanks for the coffee. Bye." He said and left hastily leaving me confused.
