(Mayson's POV)
I'd told my parents two days ago that I just had slight cold, and they both showed up the very next day. I'm not complaining, but I don't like their excessive pampering either. It was just a normal cold. Well, now that they have come here, I will have to listen to their blah blah...
"Don't fight too much with your girlfriend." My mother said.
"What fight?... and wait what! Girlfriend!" I asked irritably because I knew who she was talking about.
"I am talking about Maya." She said.
"C'mon Mom, she is not my girlfriend, she is my personal trainer. And when did I fight with her?" I asked and looked at my dad who was reading the newspaper.
"I don't want to create a rift between mother and son." He said nonchalantly.
What the hell dad! You can't betray me like this everytime. Save me from her. I thought and she asked, "then why were you saying on the phone that day that you are not getting along with her these days?"
"What do you mean by these days! I've never gotten along with her." I said.
"Then get it done my son." She said and smirked.
"What?" I asked.
"Endear her." She said.
"Mom bye!" I said and ran away because if I stayed here even for a moment longer, I would go crazy.

(Kyle's POV)
I woke up with a loud sound of thunder and saw that it was already 8 o'clock in the night. "Oh God! It's too late." I whispered and rushed into the kitchen. If it weren't for this lightning strike, I probably wouldn't have woken up. I need to get dinner ready and take it home as quickly as possible. I quickly prepared the dinner, grabbed my car keys, and opened the door to get out. It was pouring rain outside, and in this terrible weather, a girl sat huddled up in the corner of the door, shivering.
"Wha...who? Hello Miss!" I said and gently shook her shoulder. She turned, and when I saw her face, I was shocked and my heart sank into fathom.
"Monica!" I said, and she gave me a painful smile. She was drenched from head to toe and was shivering badly.
"What are you doing here in this rain?" I asked and she muttered, "wa-waiting for you."
"What the... are you out of your mind?" I yelled and took off my raincoat and wrapped it around her, but it was no use because she was completely soaked in water. Then I didn't say anything and just grabbed her hand and brought her inside. I sat her down on the couch and took some loose-fitting clothes out of my wardrobe and gave them to her, saying, "Go and change." I saw she was feeling a little awkward, so I said, "I know these are my clothes... I mean, since I'm a man, I only have mens' wear, but if you stay in these wet clothes, you'll get sick, and you're shivering so much anyway."
She stroked my cheek with her ice-cold, wet hands and said, "Don't worry, vampires don't get sick."
"Shut up! Go and change." I said sternly. She sighed and took the clothes and then went inside the bathroom.
She's been waiting for me since noon! In all this rain! Why? Who am I to her? I thought, and a tear rolled down my cheek.

Across the seven seas, in another country, Eric was resting in his dorm after attending lectures at his university. He received a message on his phone: "Come down quickly. I'm waiting for you." and seeing this his joy knew no bounds. He jumped up and ran out. As he came down, he saw a girl standing just outside the gate, waiting for him. He ran to her, hugged her, and said, "I missed you so much, Genevieve."
"I missed you a lot too." She said.
"Don't go away like this without telling me anything. Your phone was also not reachable. Where were you all these days?" He asked.
"I had gone to kill someone." She said.
"What? C'mon Genevieve I'm serious." He said confused.
"I'm not kidding either." She said and her eyes darkened as if some evil spirit had suddenly possessed her and seeing this he got a little scared and asked, "Are you okay?"
She grabbed his both hands tightly and pulled him very close, just an inch apart. This made him even more nervous and he asked timidly, "Wha-what are you do-doing?"
"Just look into my eyes." She whispered in his ears.
"Gen..." Before he could speak anything she placed her finger on his lips and said, "shhhh...Don't say anything, just keep looking into my eyes, Eric. You're slowly falling asleep. A deep, long sleep."
He stared into her eyes like an innocent child, as if he were obligated to follow her orders. Within seconds, he began to feel strange and became very sleepy. He began to lose consciousness, and darkness began to appear before his eyes, and then...
Thud!

(Author's POV)
It was eight o'clock in the night and after preparing dinner, Mayson's mother went to his room and said, "Mayson, food is rea... where is he? Must be in the bathroom." Muttering this she was about to leave when her eyes fell on his cell phone lying on the bed. She stopped for a moment and with a mischievous smile picked it up and started searching the contacts. Just then Mayson came out of the washroom and asked, "Mom, what are you looking at in my phone?" She flinched and said, "Oh, you came son. Nothing, just...heheh."
"Just what?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
"Can't I even see my son's phone?" She asked in a dramatic tone.
"Yaah...Mooom... I didn't mean it like that." He said.
"Leave it, the food is ready, come down." She said and left.
As soon as she came out of his room, her husband whispered, "Did you find it?"
"I did," she said happily and he was also very happy to hear it.
Meanwhile, Mayson was in his room wondering what mischief was going inside his mother's mind.
