Chapter 14

The next day was pretty simple. Last night sitara didn't stop nagging and jokingly teasing salar by talking about Natasha. Sitara and salar went to visit tayas house as Kiran and zohaib missed them. Sitara called Sana there too.

Sitara had wore a simple pink dress. With matching jhumkas. Salar wore denim jeans with black T-shirt and a jacket on top.

Everyone was sitting in the lounge gossiping and Sana asked about if something was wrong with sitara which to she told her the Natasha thing that happened in a whisper but zohaib heard it too.

Sana: "hein? Sitara Jahan jealous bhi hoti hain" Sana said teasing her
(Oh? Sitara jahan gets jealous too?)

Sitara: "jealous nahi horahi bus wo jaise dekh rahi thi aur baat karahi thi salar ke bare mein mujhy sirf us par gussa aya"
(I'm not getting jealous. It's just that how she was looking at salar and talking about him annoyed me)

Sana: "han pagal isse jealousy nahi kehte toh kiya kehte hain"
(Idiot this is called jealousy)

Zohaib: "Sitara tumhara bus nahi chal raha tum salar bhai ko Burkha pehna do"
(Is sitara could she would've made salar bhai wear a veil)

Sitara: "Ab itna bhi nahi hai."
(Now this is too much)

Sana: "Matlab Tumhe jealousy Hui thi" (Matlab you are admitting that you're jealous?)
Sana said in a slightly louder tone to which sitaras eyes widened

Tayi Taya and Kiran were confused about what they were talking about meanwhile salar got it and smirked slightly looking at sitara

Sitara: "aaram se nahi bolsakti?"
Sitara said in a whisper
(Can't you talk slowly)

Kiran: "arey Hume bhi tou batao kiya batein horahi hai?"
(Someone tell us to what you guys are talking about)

Sana: "kuch nahi hum tou bus aise hi batein karahe the"
(Nothing much we were just chit chatting)

Tayi: "acha zohaib tum batao" (Oh zohaib you tell us)

Sitara: "nahi nahi tayi isne kuch Suna hi nahi hum toh apas mein baatein karahe the ye bin wajah ke kabab mein haddi ban raha tha"
(No no tayi he didn't hear anything we were talking and he was just trying to interrupt)

Sitara said while kicking zohaibs feet to gesture him to not say anything

Kiran: "Zohaib mein tumhe burger kilwao gi batao kiya batein karahe ho?"
(Zohaib I'll buy you a burger if you tell us)

Sitara: "mein tumhe 10 khilaongi chip karke betho" (I'll buy you 10 shut up and sit)

Salar chuckled

Kiran: "Acha salar bhai apko toh Pata hoga na ap batade" (Salar bhai if you know tell us)

Sitara: "nahi Pata Maine bataya hi nahi" (He doesn't know I didn't tell him) sitara said lying just to save her the embarrassment

Salar: "Zohaib ab sharafat se batao kiya hai mein toh ab nahi batasakta tumhari sitara baji bohat khatarnak aurat hai" Salar said jokingly (Zohaib now tell them properly. I can't tell them anymore your sister is a very dangerous woman)

Everyone laughed meanwhile sitara stared at him then zohaib told them about Natasha

"Ooo tum jealous horahi thi sitara?"
(were you jealous sitara?)
Kiran asked sitara teasingly

"Nahi ab Aisa bhi nahi hai surf bura lagraha tha"
(No I just didn't like it)
Sitara replied which to salar smirked

"Sirf bura?" (You just didn't like it?)
Salar asked

"Han toh salar bhai wo Natasha patakha apko pasand bhi toh krti hai"
(salar bhai doesn't that Natasha like you?) Sana interrupted

Everyone in the room chuckled

"Sahi toh keh rahi hai Sana" (Wait Sana is actually right)
Sitara said while looking at salar

"Han toh meri tou eik hi biwi hai sitara Jahan"
(I only have a wife whose name is sitara Jahan) salar replied looking directly into her eyes

Sitara smiled a little and Sana zohaib and Kiran teased her in the background.

"Han topic mat change kre" (Don't change the topic) sitara said avoiding the teasing

"chalo ab meri piyari biwi ko tang karna band kro" (Now stop teasing my lovely wife)
Salar remarked

"Han bus krdo salar bhai ko bura lagraha hai" (Yeah salar bhai is feeling bad stop teasing his wife) Kiran teased while sitara smiled looking at salar and he did too.

"Thora ziada possessive nahi hogaya salar bhai?" Sana remarked jokingly
(Aren't you being a little too possessive)

"Nahi abhi tou kam hai" (No this is too little) salar replied jokingly while they all laughed and after a while sana left and both sitara and salar bid their goodbyes and left to the sikandar house.

Sitara knew it was salars birthday the day after tomorrow and she acted like she didn't remember just to surprise him. Surprisingly he himself didn't mention his birthday. So sitara just shrugged it off and continued with the act.

After they reached home sitara went to make coffee and salar followed her behind just because he didn't want her to leave him alone. As they were talking salar mentioned that he had never eaten street food or travelled in rishchaws which surprised sitara.

"Kiya matlab ap kabhi rishchaw me nahi behte" (You have never sat in a richshaw before??)

"Han kabhi bhi nahi betha" (Yeah I've never sat in one)

"Burger bache hein ap"
Sitara remarked

Salar chuckled "ab Aisa bhi nahi hai"

"Koi nahi mere sath reh kar desi larke ban jainge ap tension na lein"
(Don't worry I'll make you a desi guy)
