Chapter 7 [Balls]

A warm, beautiful morning has arrived, with birds chirping merrily as they move in groups over the skies. At this moment, Ken is standing behind an electricity pole in front of Kami High's gate. Students walked past him, perplexed as to why Ken had hidden in such areas. Ignoring their stares, Ken adjusted his glasses and was ready to meet his two best friends.

A part of him intended to walk to his classroom as usual, but Momo's words from yesterday lingered with him 'Calm down.. Saying "good morning" is not a huge issue!' Ken tried to calm his fears by thinking optimistically.

He knows it was just his emotions, and his doubts attempt to convince him that he is only disturbing them, but the way they treat him and support him through his ordeal confirms otherwise "Wassup? Hey-ey! You guys doin' well?" Ken whispers quietly to himself, making comical faces and doing motions with his hands 'Alright, I guess I got the hang of it. It'll be piece of cake!' Ken ponders again.

Ken finally walked away from the pole and start approaching the gate by walking 'I need to toughen myself up, just like Y/n always said!' Ken encouraged himself in his head, recalling the advice Y/n had given him.

Friends like Momo and Y/n are a blessing to Ken, despite their occasional little arguments, they are always willing to lend him a hand.

"Give me your balls"

Ken was startled by a sudden whisper and breath that touched his left ear, sending his entire body into panic. The mere sound of those signature words prompted Ken to turn around and scream in horror and shock. All of which explode at once "GYAAAAHH!!" The nearby students flinch at Ken's sudden girlish screams.

Momo was the one who had said those words earlier, Ken's dramatic reaction made her smirking widely "Ahahaha! Got 'em!" Momo laughed and slapped her knees, amused by Ken's girlish reaction.

"You sounded like a chipmunk" Y/n joined in as well, amusingly remarking with grin toward Ken, who was taking deep breaths and placing his hands on his knees.

"You jerks! Y'all nearly gave me a heart attack!" Ken screams, clenching his jaw and pointing aggressively at his friends.

"Chill out, man. At least you're still breathing" Y/n teases. He dangle his arm over Ken's shoulder with faint chuckles "That besides the point! My heart almost pops out of my chest!" Ken grumpily growled, not appreciating their prank.

"Don't take it too personal, nerd. We're just playing with cha!" Momo tries to lighten up Ken's mood. She kept giggling and gave his arm a friendly elbow nudge "Ugh, you guys are such a jerks sometimes.." Ken sighed in exasperation.

"Sorry for our behaviour, Takakura. I promise we won't make you piss your own pants ever again" Y/n apologizes with teasing grin "IT DOESN'T SOUND GENUINE AT ALL!!" Ken shouted with comical shark teeth chomping each words "For crying out loud, we are just kidding with you, nerd" Momo shakes her head, finding Ken's tantrum extremely entertaining.

As the trio walked together into the school's entrance, Ken murmured incoherent words under his breath, annoyed by Momo and Y/n's absurd teasing tactics. To make matters worse, it's effective against him, making him even more frustrated than ever.

They eventually ascended the stairs of their school, striking a conversation along the way "Hey boys, remember those aliens we met?" Momo's voice drew both boys' eyes toward her "Uh huh?" Y/n nodded his head "What about it, Miss Ayase?" Ken lift his eyebrow "What I found hilarious about them is that they are all males, no females! They must be a stink species!" Momo smiled "Can you imagine if humans reproduced through clones like them?" Momo laughed at the idea.
