Chapter 11 [Annihilation]

Aira and Ken were somewhere when they heard a violent explosion reverberating through the dark caverns of the hallways. Their thoughts are racing over what could have triggered the explosion. The fact that the location is completely dark adds to its eerie atmosphere.

"What was that sound?" Aira muttered, her stomach churning with unease.

"I don't know, but it sounded like an explosion" Ken muttered.

"Hey, what exactly is this situation we're in? Are you and those other two trying to frame me?" Aira questioned Ken with suspicious tone of voice.

"Of course not! I'd like to ask what's going on myself" Ken protested, sighing a little at Aira's accusatory.

"But, something similar to this happened in the past. It was pitch black outside, and we were completely walled in" Ken recalled.

"What did you do back then?" Aira asked, interested at Ken's remarks.

"Well, when we defeated the alien, it went back to normal" Ken answered.

"Aliens? Hold on a second. Aliens exist?" Aira questioned Ken in a suspicious tone.

"They do!" Ken nodded his head.

"To be honest, they are even worse than yokai monsters!" Ken added.

"Huh? Then why do aliens assault us?" Aira asked, rising her eyebrow as her confusion intensifies.

"Well.. I don't know. It seems like they are collecting human reproductive organs" Ken remarks.

As soon as they hear the sound of water tapping nearby, Ken and Aira both turn their heads. They came across a strange humanoid alien with a crab-like head and muscular body with dull yellow skin. It appears that the eyes resemble crabs. Not only that, the alien also had wore boxing gloves for some odd reason. In addition, the alien was dressed only in boxers.

The alien swayed from side to side, his fists in defensive position, muttering soft melodic hums. Ken stepped in front of Aira, and both of their eyes widened at the strange alien's sudden arrival.

"Chiquitita, you have a dream? Chi-Chiquitita, Chi-Chiquitita-chi. Chiquitita, you have a dream?" The alien hums.

The alien dashes forward at breakneck speed, executing a powerful uppercut as soon as he reaches Ken and Aira. Fortunately, Ken was able to transformed into his yokai form just before the alien's fist touched them. In that split second, Ken grabbed Aira and leaped away, landing in the distance with her in his arms.

"Chi-Chiquitita, chi-chi-Chiquitita, chi-chi-Chiquitita. Sh-Shy my chotchiki for you" The alien continued to hum.

Aira's eyes widened, and she didn't even have time to process what had happened. The fact that everything happened too quickly for Aira demonstrates how fast Ken moves to evade the alien's attack.

"This makes me wilt.." Ken groaned.

"Man, what a bother. But I guess it's time to show the result of my training.." Ken gently dismounts Aira from his arms.

"Aira-chan. Step aside and don't involve yourself in this. I'd hate to see you get hurt" Ken commented.

"A-Aira-chan? We haven't kiss yet, don't call me that!" Aira's heart flutters as she responds to him.

"I feel so droopy.." Ken locks eyes with the singing alien in front of him and sighs to himself.

"Uh ah, morning, noon, and night. We're gig workers..~" The alien hops from left to right, guarding himself with his fists.
