Chapter 9 [Kinder World]

"Y-You are-!" Before Aira could continue her sentence, the mysterious woman interrupted her. 

She lets out a delighted hum as she dances acrobatically while clutching Aira like her darling baby.

"After me" Y/n whisper to Ken, who nodded. As Y/n prepared to run, his foot pressed on the pavement, slightly cracking it.

FWUUSH!

He dashed and jumped into the air, spreading his wings. Y/n's body rocketed toward Aira, attempting to grab her but failing. The mysterious woman just twisted her body with such fluidity, flawlessly avoiding Y/n's attempt to grab her precious daughter. 

"What a surprise!" The woman sneered.

Y/n executed a swift turn. 

"You're like a snake" Y/n remarked, his lips curled into a mocking sneer as he hover in the air. 

"Are you going after my precious Aira too?" The woman asked, placing her palm on the ground to maintain her posture in the air.

"Isn't it obvious?" Y/n replied. Instead of attempting to tackle Aira out of the woman's hands once again, Y/n remained in midair, calmly folding his arms.

GRRRK!!

"WHA-" The woman flinched.

Suddenly, the mysterious woman's body was instantly immobilized by an unseen force. She had the strange sensation that her body was being tightly gripped by a pair of invisible hands. Momo used her psychokinesis to bind around the mysterious woman's body, preventing her from freely moving.

"Checkmate!" Momo grinned. 

"What is this?!" The woman growled. 

"Target locked" Ken mutters. Ken immediately dashed and took a short leap into the air. Ken flipped in midair, aiming his right foot at the woman's back.

WHAM!

The mysterious woman winced in pain as Ken's kick bashed against her back. The impact caused her to cough out a few drops of spit. The power of Ken's kick pushed a mysterious woman few meters, but she stopped herself by digging both of her feet into the ground. 

"Y-You too, four eyes?!" Aira squealed. 

Perhaps she misjudged, it wasn't only Y/n, the four-eyes she encountered was also a demon.

"Nice kick, bro" Y/n praised. 

He descended close to Ken and remained three inches off the ground, his wings flexed wide and flapping with energy. 

"Man, this is so annoying.. I wanna go home already.." Ken remarked. 

"We're just started, Ken. Let's not quit now!" Y/n encouraged, giggling as he spoke.

"Is it me or your eyes have changed, Y/n?" Momo chimed in. Her head tilted to look at Y/n's pupils. 

"We can discuss about that later, Momo. let's take care of this uninvited guest first" Y/n dismisses Momo's question and focused on important matter. 

"Right. I guess questions can wait!" Momo declared. Her hands raised to aim her psychokinesis toward their opponent. 

"Damn you.. Bunch of rotten delinquents!" The mysterious woman grunts.
