Chapter 13 [Newcomer]

Y/n's thoughts were in complete disarray, and the longer he stared at the boy with the maroon hair, the more resentment grew inside of him.

'Is he actually Momo's first boyfriend? Damned lucky bastard, he's such a hunk too! He's even got piercings on his ears. If only I were taller than his ass!'  His hands were clenched into fists at his sides as he thought uncivilly.

'Not to mention, he's built like an athlete! Maybe Momo likes that type of guy..?'  In his thoughts, Y/n snarls.

Ken cast a sidelong glance at Y/n and noticed how his eyebrows pressed together and his eyes narrowed into a glare. Ken could tell a lot about Y/n's expression simply by observing him and feeling a strong sense of jealousy growing within of Y/n. Ken opted to remain silent, not daring to even whisper to Y/n, or asking if he was okay, fearing that if he made one mistake, Y/n would crash out.

Jiji, Momo's first childhood friend, suddenly spins around and struck a pose, pointing his hand magnificently at Momo and grinning widely.

"Momo, you're such a cutie~!" Jiji smirks.

"And your terrible impression.. so priceless!" Jiji remarks confidently.

The four teens stared at Jiji with deadpan expressions, obviously taken aback by how quickly his attitude changed from calm and composed to boisterous and energetic. Even the jealousy that shot through Y/n's expression instantly changed what he had seen.

"It's been a while, Momo! Wanna hug for starters~?" Jiji's arms were wrapped around himself as he spun around like a ballerina, giggling.

"So annoying, what's up with you?" Momo sighs.

"I got me an 'annoying!' GIMME MORE!!" Jiji lobbed his arms around, making odd sounds with his lips.

Momo shakes her head, removing her hairband and letting her hair fall back into its natural style.

"Guys, help me kill this guy" Momo snarled in frustration as she looked over her shoulder at Ken and Y/n.

"Pass" Ken sweatdropped, Y/n just remained silent.

"Long time no see, Jiji" Seiko greeted.

"Ah, good evening!" After Seiko's gaze met his, Jiji beamed and leaned forward slightly in a polite bow.

"It's been a while!" Jiji rose up, beaming a big grin.

"You're still beautiful as ever, Auntie!" Jiji complimented.

"You've grown up into a genius. Well, come on in" Seiko turned around and walked away, putting her favorite cigarette between her lips as she nonchalantly invited.

"Huh? Wait a sec, what's going on here?" Momo glances briskly between Jiji and her grandmother, perplexed.

"What? Isn't it obvious?" Seiko pauses and looks over her shoulder at her granddaughter.

"He's gonna live with us starting from today" Seiko lighted her cigarette as she declared.

Momo's and Y/n's eyes shot wide in complete disbelief as Seiko's declaration hit them like a lightning bolt, paralyzing them.

"HUH WHAT FOR?! We already have a guy in here! There's no need for another!" Momo objected, punching the air frantically, while Jiji seemed thrilled and waved his body smoothly from side to side.

"The more the merrier! Who else among you is staying here?" Jiji beams and gazes at Y/n and Ken, who are standing next to each other.

"Him" Ken pointed to Y/n.

"Coolio! Nice to meet cha, homie! How long have you stayed here? What's your name? Mine is Jin Enjoji, yo!" Jiji enthusiastically shakes Y/n's hand before striking a pose again and making two peace signs with both hands.
