The students of Class 1-A have been adjusting to dorm life at U.A. while also grappling with the recent news of All Might's retirement following his intense battle with All For One. Shortly afterward, All Might held a press conference, officially announcing the end of his hero career. The atmosphere at U.A. remains heavy with the significance of this change, but life must go on, and the training intensifies.

In one class, Mr. Aizawa informs Class 1-A that the planned Provisional Hero License Exam was disrupted due to the League of Villains' attack during their summer training camp. He emphasizes that earning these licenses is now their primary goal, as it would allow them to use their quirks to protect others in critical situations. However, he also warns them that the passing rate for the exam is notoriously low—less than five percent. To prepare, he instructs them to create at least two signature special moves, powerful and identifiable techniques that would give them an edge in combat.

The class erupts with excitement, eagerly discussing their future moves. Aizawa instructs them to change into their hero costumes and meet at Gym Gamma for a training session specifically focused on developing their special moves. Once assembled, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Midnight arrive to assist.

At Gym Gamma, Cementoss explains that he will use his quirk to adjust the environment to meet their training needs, while Ectoplasm will provide sparring partners using his clones. When Tenya Iida asks why special moves are so crucial, Aizawa explains that the exam tests various hero traits, such as judgment, mobility, leadership, and communication, but combat ability is a significant factor. Cementoss adds that true fighting ability is about bringing stability to any situation, a core aspect of being a hero.

Ectoplasm further elaborates, noting that special moves aren't strictly about offense; they can provide a critical advantage in combat scenarios. He highlights Tenya's Recipro Burst, which grants him explosive speed, as a quintessential special move that gives the user a clear upper hand. Midnight mentions Kamui Woods' Lacquered Chain Prison, a move that suppresses opponents instantly, to reinforce the point that a special move can be as much about strategy as raw power. Aizawa finishes by noting that the original purpose of the training camp was to help them develop such moves.

Determined to make the most of the remaining ten days of summer break before the second semester starts, Aizawa tells the class to focus entirely on quirk development and special move creation. He also advises them to consider upgrading their hero costumes to better suit their new abilities. Cementoss manipulates the terrain, and Ectoplasm's clones are ready for sparring, signaling the start of their training.

During a break in training, Izuku gathers with his friends—Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, and Shoto Todoroki—to discuss their progress.

"I can't believe the Provisional Hero License Exam is coming up so soon!" Izuku exclaims excitedly.

"If we pass, we'll be able to use our quirks to stop crimes... and maybe even get paid," Uraraka adds with a tired smile. The group knows how important it is for Uraraka to become a professional hero and support her family.

"But coming up with a special move isn't easy," she admits.

"Right," Izuku says, starting to mumble. "You have to think about your quirk's strengths, consider how to maximize its potential, and give it a name that's catchy yet recognizable. If you're not careful, though, using it too much could let villains learn how to counter it, and then—"

"Midoriya," Todoroki interrupts calmly. "Want to train together? We could bounce ideas off each other."

"Yes!" Izuku agrees enthusiastically. "But I have to talk to Hawks first. I want to see if any of his techniques can be adapted into my own."

From then on, the group trains together, refining their quirks and brainstorming special moves.

Izuku Midoriya Special Move: "Winged Storm"Concept: Izuku's wings and telekinesis combine to create a multi-directional, rapid-fire assault while maintaining a defensive stance.Execution: He takes flight, gathering debris telekinetically. Once ready, he creates a wind barrier with a flap of his wings, protecting himself while he directs the floating projectiles with precision. He finishes with a high-speed dive, delivering a powerful telekinetic burst.Ochaco Uraraka: "Zero Satellites"Concept: Enhancing her float ability for better mobility, Uraraka lifts debris around her and manipulates them mid-air.Execution: Using grappling hooks, she controls the debris, slamming it into opponents with swift precision. This tactic not only increases her offensive capability but also allows her to control the battlefield by setting traps.Tenya Iida: "Recipro Turbo" (Upgrade)Concept: Mitigating the drawbacks of his Recipro Burst, Tenya aims for sustained bursts of speed.Execution: He consults with the Development Studio to upgrade the radiators in his costume, allowing him to use his high-speed maneuvers for longer periods without overheating.Shoto Todoroki:Special Move Development: Shoto experiments with simultaneously using his fire and ice to overpower opponents.Execution: Combining his ice and fire, Shoto creates massive area-control effects. In training, he demonstrates how he can break a water tank with ice and then use his fire to cause an explosion, disorienting opponents before freezing them in place.Signature Moves:Phosphor: A balanced combination of his hot and cold abilities, allowing him to manipulate the temperature of his body.Hell Spider: Concentrating flames at his fingertips to produce searing beams.Jet Kindling: Focusing his fire into a concentrated point for high-impact strikes.Flashfreeze Heatwave: Releasing the power of both fire and ice simultaneously, creating a devastating heat-and-cold wave attack.

Class 1-A's dedication to their training pays off as they sharpen their techniques and develop unique strategies, preparing for the challenges that lie ahead in the Provisional Hero License Exam.
