On their second day at U.A., Class 1-A was buzzing with excitement as they waited for their first "Heroic Basics" lesson. The tension broke as soon as they heard loud, thunderous footsteps from the hallway. The door flew open, and in burst All Might, striking his usual pose and beaming smile.

"I'm coming through the door like a normal person!" he announced with a grin that left most of the students awestruck. The class gawked in amazement, except for Izuku, Shoto, and Bakugo, who, each in their own way, tried to keep their reactions cool.

All Might, with his characteristic energy, introduced the day's lesson as a foundation for their hero journey. The exercise would take place at Ground Beta, and it would be their first step in real hero training. He then handed out briefcases to each student, announcing that their hero costumes were ready and urging them to change quickly. The anticipation grew as they donned their suits, each one customized to reflect their unique quirks and personalities.

In their suits, they gathered in the observation booth, where All Might went over the exercise: a mock battle. The students would be paired into teams of two, with one team assigned the role of heroes and the other as villains. The villains' task was to hide a "bomb" inside a building, while the heroes needed to locate and secure it by touching it or capturing the villains. Victory for the villains would be achieved by capturing the hero team or if the time ran out.

Students immediately raised their hands, eager to choose their own partners. All Might, however, explained that teams will be chosen randomly by drawing lots. Ida voiced concerns about pairing, suggesting it might be better if they chose based on compatibility. Izuku chimed in, explaining, "Heroes sometimes have to work with people they don't know or usually wouldn't partner with. Part of being a hero is adapting and cooperating, no matter who you're with."

With the groups chosen by lottery, All Might explained the remaining details, reading diligently from a small notepad as the students prepared mentally for their first true test in the path of heroism.
