Time passed, and the students who had gone to various hero agencies for their internships returned to U.A. Those who had to retake their provisional hero license exams, like Bakugo and Todoroki, successfully passed this time. With things settling down, the school returned to its usual activities.
"Um... we're going to have a school festival," Mr. Aizawa announced as class ended, slipping into his yellow sleeping bag.
The class erupted into cheers of excitement. The U.A. School Festival was a cherished tradition that gave students and staff a chance to relax and showcase their talents.
"Let's decide what we're going to do!" Hagakure exclaimed, jumping up and down enthusiastically. The motion of her floating school uniform was the only visible sign of her excitement.
Izuku and Momo walked to the front of the class to organize the discussion.
"I know everyone probably has great ideas for what we can do for the festival," Izuku began. "We'll vote on the idea that gets the most support. Who wants to start?"
The class immediately erupted, hands shooting up with eager suggestions.
"Kaminari, you can go first," Izuku said, pointing to the electric hero-in-training.
"How about a maid café?" Kaminari suggested with a grin.
Mineta tried to chime in with his own idea, but Asui shut him down before he could get a word in.
"A mochi shop," Uraraka proposed.
"Arm wrestling tournament!" Kirishima said with fiery enthusiasm.
"A deathmatch," Bakugo declared bluntly.
After much discussion and a fair bit of vetoing inappropriate suggestions, the class settled on an idea that everyone could participate in and enjoy. It was Todoroki who pointed out a video of a live concert online.
"That's a good idea!" Mina exclaimed. "And I can teach everyone some dance moves!"
"We'll need someone to sing and people to play instruments," Kaminari added, looking at Jiro expectantly.
Jiro was quickly chosen as the lead singer. To everyone's surprise, Bakugo revealed he could play the drums. Momo volunteered for the piano, Kaminari took the electric guitar, and Tokoyami agreed to play bass. The rest of the class divided into dance crews and special effects teams.

Meanwhile, Eri was gradually adjusting to life under U.A.'s protection. She was still shy and reserved, often clinging to Mr. Aizawa when she felt overwhelmed. With the school festival on the horizon, Mirio and Izuku saw an opportunity to help her feel more at ease.
"Hey, Eri," Mirio said with his signature cheerful smile. "How about you come to the festival with us? It'll be fun—lots of yummy food, cool games, and Class 1-A's show. Right, Aether?"
Izuku knelt to her level and nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, Eri, you'll love it. It's a celebration for everyone, and we'd love to have you there. Plus..." He hesitated, then added with a warm smile, "I think it'll help you see that the world isn't as scary as it seems."
Eri hesitated, clutching the edge of her oversized sweater. "...Will you be there?"
"Of course," Izuku reassured her. "We'll both be there the whole time."
"And we'll stick by you," Mirio added, ruffling her hair gently.
Slowly, Eri nodded, a flicker of curiosity in her eyes.
The preparations for Class 1-A's performance began in earnest. Jiro took charge of the music rehearsals, Mina organized dance practice, and Iida, Momo, and Todoroki worked on special effects.

Meanwhile, atop a building, two criminals were discussing their next move. La Brava showed Gentle their latest robbery video, but it wasn't gaining many views. Gentle decided he needed to pull off something bigger to grab people's attention.
Later, in their secret hideout, La Brava uploaded the video of their robbery. In it, Gentle called himself a modern-day gentleman thief, targeting those who behaved unethically. However, the online community showed little interest.
Undeterred, Gentle revealed his new plan: infiltrating the U.A. School Festival. With U.A. being a symbol of heroism and heavily fortified after previous attacks, he believed this stunt would make him famous.

When the day of the festival arrived, the campus buzzed with excitement. Students showcased their talents, and families and friends poured in to enjoy the festivities.
Izuku and Mirio stayed close to Eri, guiding her through the bustling crowd. Her eyes widened at the bright stalls, delicious smells, and cheerful music.
"Do you want to try a candy apple?" Izuku asked, pointing to a nearby stall.
Eri tilted her head. "Candy... apple?"
"They're sweet and yummy," Mirio explained, already pulling out his wallet.
Moments later, Eri held a shiny red candy apple. She took a small bite, her eyes lighting up in surprise.
"It's... good," she whispered.
Izuku and Mirio exchanged smiles before leading her to other stalls set up by the business course students.
When it was almost time for Class 1-A's performance, Izuku left Eri with Mirio and headed to the preparation room. Realizing they needed extra ropes for special effects, he volunteered to buy some.
On his way back to U.A., Izuku ran into Gentle and La Brava outside a café. Gentle's mention of Gold Tips Imperial tea—a rare tea Momo had served—caught Izuku's attention. Recognizing Gentle's voice from an online video, Izuku quickly pieced together his identity and realized his plan to infiltrate U.A.
"Turn back now, and I'll act like nothing happened," Izuku said, his smile devoid of warmth. "There's a little girl looking forward to today, and I won't let anyone ruin it."
Gentle shook his head. "No can do. The show must go on." He signaled La Brava to keep filming.
Izuku sighed. "I'm going to be in so much trouble for this... Sorry to cut your plan short."
Before Gentle or La Brava could react, Izuku captured them both in a telekinetic shield. "Off to the police station."
Flying swiftly to avoid missing Class 1-A's performance, Izuku ensured the criminals were handed over to the authorities before returning to the festival just in time.
