Part 60

Izuku arrived backstage, panting slightly as he handed the rope to Shoto.
"It took you longer than I expected," Shoto said, accepting the rope with a calm expression.
"The nearest shop was closed, so I had to run to another one," Izuku replied, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "Is everything ready?"
"Almost. Just the final touches," Shoto replied, glancing toward the stage. "You'd better get changed before Mina drags you to the dressing room herself."

The U.A. auditorium was buzzing with anticipation. Students and staff filled the seats, murmurs of excitement filling the air as they waited for Class 1-A's performance. Backstage, the class gathered in a circle, hands stacked together for a final cheer.
"Let's blow them away!" shouted Katsuki, his fiery determination sparking through the group.
"Yeah!" they all responded in unison, their energy sky-high.

At precisely 10:00, the lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted into cheers as the curtains opened, revealing the band and dancers in position. The stage was enveloped in darkness, save for faint, glowing outlines of the performers. In the pitch-black silence, Katsuki's voice rang out:
"Get ready UA, our sound gonna kill you!"

He slammed down on the drums, generating a fiery explosion that illuminated the stage. The sudden flash stunned the audience, who burst into cheers as the band—Momo on keyboard, Denki on electric guitar, Fumikage on bass, and Kyoka on lead guitar—joined in. The dancers sprang to life, their synchronized movements perfectly matching the music.

Kyoka leaned into the microphone with a confident smirk. "Thanks for coming, U.A.! Let's rock!" she declared, her voice cutting through the energy of the crowd.

The music was electrifying, and even the students who had come to criticize found themselves swept up in the energy. Mina led the dancers with her infectious enthusiasm, spinning and flipping across the stage. Mashirao's acrobatics added a layer of awe, and Toru's glittering costume made her invisible body shimmer like a ghost.

Midway through the performance, Izuku stepped forward, his wings glowing faintly as he activated his telekinesis. With a flick of his fingers, he lifted Yuga high into the air, his Navel Laser casting vibrant beams of light across the auditorium. The room exploded into applause as Yuga twisted midair, his laser creating dazzling patterns that filled the stage. Izuku carefully lowered him back into Mashirao's arms before slipping backstage to prepare for the finale.

As the performance reached its climax, Shoto and Hanta combined their quirks to create a breathtaking spectacle. Shoto crafted intricate garlands of ice that Hanta used his tape to suspend in midair, forming an ethereal canopy over the stage. Momo added bursts of colorful confetti with her quirk, filling the air with shimmering flakes that caught the light.

In the audience, Ochaco discreetly used her quirk to lift a few delighted students into the air, giving them the experience of "flying" above the crowd. The effect was magical, and the cheering reached deafening levels.

Eri, perched on Mirio's shoulders, was captivated. Her eyes sparkled with pure joy as the lights and music swirled around her. Seeing her wide smile, Mirio couldn't help but grin as well Midoriya are you seeing this she is smiling.

For the grand finale, Izuku stepped back onstage, carefully maneuvering Yuga, who now sparkled like a human mirror ball. As Yuga's Navel Laser sent light spiraling in every direction, the dancers leapt into the air one by one, their movements perfectly timed with the final, booming note of the song.

The performance ended with a thunderous ovation, the crowd leaping to their feet in applause. Class 1-A gathered at the front of the stage, bowing deeply as confetti rained down around them. Kyoka, slightly out of breath, leaned into the mic one last time. "Thank you, everyone! You're the best audience ever!"

The other classes performance also shined in their own ways and everyone continued to enjoy the festival.

Class 1-B's Fantasy Play: "Romeo, Juliet, and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The Return of the Kings"

Class 1-B put on a chaotic yet hilarious stage play that was an ambitious mashup of Romeo & Juliet, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and several other famous works. The story followed Romeo (played by Neito Monoma), who was on a quest to rescue Juliet (played by Yui Kodai) from the clutches of Count Paris (played by Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu).

In one of the most dramatic scenes, Romeo confronted Count Paris in a climactic duel, demanding the return of Juliet. However, in a shocking and overly theatrical twist, Count Paris revealed that Romeo's father, the King of Gondor, had been hiding the truth about their family lineage. "I am your father!" he proclaimed, leaving Romeo stunned and defenseless as he dropped his sword in shock.

The play was packed with wild plot twists, over-the-top acting, and extravagant set pieces. From Gandalf wielding a lightsaber to Juliet being trapped in Azkaban alongside Frodo, no story element was off-limits. The chaotic humor left the audience in stitches, and while the plot was nonsensical, the actors' commitment and comedic timing made it unforgettable.

Even those who came expecting to mock the play admitted they couldn't stop laughing. After the final curtain call, Neito Monoma—true to his personality—went around conducting a survey to ask if the audience preferred 1-B's play or 1-A's concert. Though many found 1-A's performance dazzling, 1-B's play won by a slim margin of two votes, much to Neito's delight.

The general consensus? "It was completely over the top, but we loved every second of it!"

Beauty Pageant

The beauty pageant featured eight female students from various years and departments, showcasing their talents and skills to compete for the title. The highlights included:

Itsuka Kendo: Showed off her martial arts prowess, breaking boards with her bare hands. Though she tore her dress mid-performance, the audience admired her blend of strength and elegance.

Bibimi Kenranzaki: Brought over-the-top flair, parading in a golden robotic vehicle modeled after her face. While visually stunning, her performance left some students scratching their heads.

Nejire Hado: Stole the show with her graceful sky dance, using her Quirk to create a beautiful rose in midair. Her elegance left the audience speechless.

The voting results were announced during the festival's closing ceremony, with Nejire winning first place by a landslide. Itsuka kept Neito Monoma in check after he tried to sway the voting.

Obstacle Course

After the pageant, an obstacle course event invited thrill-seeking participants to test their speed and agility. The course featured a variety of challenges, culminating in a mad dash to press a large button at the finish line. Katsuki Bakugo eagerly joined, determined to dominate with his explosive personality and athleticism.

Haunted House (Class 1-C)

Class 1-C transformed their classroom into a terrifying haunted house. Hitoshi Shinso was the star of the show, scaring visitors by dangling from the ceiling as a bloody corpse. Class 1-A's Denki, Minoru, Mina, and Toru participated, leaving the haunted house visibly shaken and terrified but thoroughly entertained.

Development Studio Exhibition

The Support Course students proudly displayed their latest inventions, drawing the attention of students and professional representatives alike. Mei Hatsume, true to her creative flair, showcased her "Super Cute Baby – 202," a massive robot suit. Her presentation impressed everyone, though she promptly fell asleep after the event, exhausted from weeks of hard work.

The festival was a vibrant display of UA High's diversity, talent, and creativity, leaving all attendees with unforgettable memories. Even in the darkest time hero's will rise to save the day and bring smiles to the citizen.
