A/N: The picture is of her clothes that she buys. She also has a plain black bandana mask that fits to the bottom half of her face. I put the song in there because I liked it and wanted to share it.

Tai's POV

I am sooooooo booooored. Tomorrow I get assigned to my team but right now there is nothing to do. All I did yesterday was decorate my room with a dark purple rug and some books that I bought on human and animal anatomy. I still have some books left to read but I'm mentally tired. I need to do something fun.

"Akiraaaaaaaaaa. I'm boooored. What should I doooooooo?" I asked her while laying on my bed staring at my while ceiling. Kakashi's out right now, doing whatever he does. He isn't at his house that often so I can usually talk to Akira freely.

"How about you buy some new clothes and weapons. You really need different clothes. Have some fashion sense when you pick them out this time." She barked at me. I rolled my eyes.

"Why would I need new clothes? Mine are perfectly fine." I asked her. She had a deadpan expression before replying.

"Your clothes have a ton of holes in them due to your forgetfulness and training." She replied. I looked down at my clothes and realized she was right. I had holes littering my clothing and tears in places. My clothes were worn and old. In other words, I needed a new outfit. I looked back to Akira.

"Fair enough." I replied. "We just need to find a store that will sell weapons and clothing. I couldn't really buy many weapons in my dimension. Not that I had any real need to.

I jumped off my bed and with Akira following me, I left the house.

I quickly found a clothing shop that was about twenty minutes away. It was named 'Ishō'. I walked into the store with Akira trailing behind me. As I walk in, a bell rings and the person at the register welcomes me. I walk around the store in search of a new outfit. I'm definitely going to get steel-tipped combat boots to wear. Honestly, I have no idea why ninjas wear sandals.

I need to cover up my face and hair. I'm thinking of wearing a bandana to cover up the lower half of my face and a hood to cover my hair. I will also need long cargo pants for storage. I guess I'm going to have to ask the guy at the register if they have combat boots and bandanas.

I walk over to the register while making sure my face is completely covered. I actually have a legitimate reason for wanting to cover my face. If my face is not covered, I get really nervous and jumpy around people. I don't get nervous around Akira though. The person managing the counter looks up to me.

"Do you need any help finding anything?" He asks. I can hear a bit of nervousness in his voice though. That tends to happen when you have your face covered by shadows and have torn clothes on.

"Yeah, I'm looking for steel tipped, combat boots and a black bandana." I tell him. He nods his head and stands up. He motions for me to follow him as he starts walking to a back part of the shop. I follow him and we eventually come to some shelves with different boots stacked on them. He reached out for a pair of black combat boots with straps on them.

"Do you like these? The steel tips are hidden behind the leather." He says to me. I nod at him and take the boots. "Now for the bandana. I believe we have some over near the jackets." He said while pointing towards a rack of jackets. He leads me over to them and I see a shelf to my right that has a lot of masks and hats on it. The worker takes out a piece of cloth that looks to be fitted for a face. He ties it onto a nearby mannequin face and shows it to me. It's a plain black bandana that, when its on your face, looks similar to Kakashi's mask except more loose. I agree to buy it and he untied it off the mannequin's face and hands it to me.

"Need me to help with anything else?" He asks me. I shake my head no and he goes back to the register. I look back to the jackets behind me to look for a hooded one.

After a while I find a hooded jacket with red on the inside and black on the outside. There is a zipper running down the middle and pockets for your hands. It looks good enough for me so I take it. I head over to the pants section in search of some cargo pants. I soon find some black cargo pants with pockets littering it.

I was about to take them to the register when something caught my eye. They were red and black fingerless gloves that looked to be for combat. I walked over to them and picked them up. Since I held them in my hands I realize that they were incredibly light. They had some kind of metal in the knuckles and the palm was bare with a strap over the wrist. These could be useful in battle I should get them. I wonder what kind of metal this is.

I take all of my purchases up to the cash register to purchase my items. He checks them out and I decide to ask him about the gloves.

"What kind of metal is in the gloves?" I ask him. He inspects the gloves for a second before replying.

"That's chakra metal. It makes it so that shinobi can infuse their chakra into the gloves to create elemental attacks or just make their hits more powerful." He answers. That's really convenient. I can think of a lot of possibilities for this. I nod in thanks to him and pay before leaving.

"Now we should find a weapons shop." I bark to Akira. She barks in agreement and we set in our way. Soon we came across a sign that said 'Higurashi's weapon shop' and I decided to go in. I opened the door and saw a massive amount of weapons. They were on shelves and racks and were in a huge variety. The only thing they didn't have was guns. Which was a bummer but I guess there aren't any guns in Naruto's dimension. I will get a gun one day! You'll see!

Right now I'm just here for some kunai and shuriken. Not senbon though. Needles freak me out. Akira says it doesn't fit my personality but who cares. I go up to a shelf full of regular weapons and take a shuriken and a kunai set. I look around some more just to satisfy my curiosity before going to the counter and paying for them.

I leave the shop with Akira and start to walk back to Kakashi's house. I now have a lot less cash than I did before. I bought the necessities though. I tilt my headed up to the sky and reassure thats it's already dark out. Well, tomorrow I get assigned my team. I sure am looking forward to it. It gives me something more interesting to do.
