A/N: Sorry if Sarutobi is OOC in this chapter. For a little clarification, he believes that Tai is dangerous and is unsafe to the rest of the villagers. As far as he and Kakashi know, Tai has killed animals and is conducting illegal experiments with them.

Kakashi walked into his house, slightly unsure of himself. He wouldn't admit it to anyone but he was a bit worried about Tai. He swiftly packed up his gear and took one wistful look at Tai's room before leaving the house.

Up in her room, Tai was laying on the bed, still coughing. She looked over to Akira.

"Hey, Akira." She asked, her voice was rough from the coughing. "Did you hear a door close." Akira, who was too busy fawning over Tai to notice anything else, shook her head. Tai shrugged before looking back over to Tora, who was just sitting in the corner, cautious of her surroundings. Tai went over to her and started petting her. Tora stiffened for a moment before relaxing into the touch. She was not used to affection like this. She was used to the constant squeezing and uncomfortable rubbing.

Tai and Tora sat like that for a while before Tai stood up. "I'm going to go for a walk." She proclaimed and walked out her bedroom door.

"Wait! I'm coming with you!" Akira said, running after her. Akira catches up to her and they continue to walk around a bit.

"I wonder if they are mad at me..." Tai wonders, frowning slightly, before coughing once more. Akira looks up at her.

"So... I didn't really get the whole story. What happened when I wasn't there?" Akira asked.

"Do you mean the bell test or with Tora?" Tai asked, glancing at Akira. A random villager who had just walked out of his house looked at her in wonder. Hearing her seemingly one-sided conversation with a dog. The villager looked at her as if she was crazy and slowly walked back into his house. Tai looked at him for a moment before shrugging and going back to her conversation.

"Both." Akira clarified. Tai sighed and began explaining.

"Well, I messed some shit up and ended up tied to a pole. I thought everything was going to turn to shit but Sakura fed me some food." Tai stopped for a moment. "I should give her something as a thank you..." Tai mumbled out. "Oh yeah, and she knows I'm a girl now." Akira looked up at her in surprise.

"It's about time someone figured it out. How did she find out anyway?" Akira asked.

"Well... I made her faint so I had to take care of her temporarily. I gave her my jacket and she woke up before I could put it back on." Akira was barking with laughter.

"Karma really seems to hate you." Akira pointed out. Tai just sighed

"Anyway, we went to go catch Tora as our first mission. I remembered how cruel to her Tora's owner was so I just decided to eat Tora." Tai said. Akira just stared at her. Tai coughed.

"So you just... Ate her?" Akira asked. Tai nodded and Akira sighed. "You're saying it like eating cats alive is an everyday thing." Tai just laughed.

"Well it's not as if she died. It was just temporary transportation. I needed to get her back to the house. She was panicking and scratched my insides all up." Tai said in a frustrated tone. A cough brought them out of their conversation. This time it wasn't one of Tai's. They looked to their left and saw the Hokage standing there. Tai looked at him curiously, a big creepy grin on her face. It was immediately wiped off however, when she felt the atmosphere. Sarutobi was very serious and it made Tai nervous.

"Y-yes?" Tai inwardly berated herself for stuttering. Akira just looked on with nervousness mirroring Tai's. Akira could feel the tension and felt something bad was going to happen very soon. Scrutinized looked over to Tai.
