A/N: Sorry this is late and short. I am trying to be active on my vine account, Wattpad, and YouTube (Which I just started) along with doing schoolwork. I think I might switch the POV to third person. I did this chapter in third person so tell me whether you want me to continue in third person or if you liked first person better.

Third person POV

It was Team Seven's first mission. It was supposed to be exciting and adventurous. Their first mission as real ninja's. So why the hell were they chasing a cat through the forest? Tai expected this. However, she did not consider the fact that the cat could be a cunning little ball of shit. As they rushed through the trees, Tai became more exasperated. The cat was practically teasing them. Tai could tell by the look in her eye that the cat knew she was going to get caught but continued to lead them on and tire them out. The cat's name was Tora. She had a red ribbon on her ear and was brown with a stitch-like stripe running down her back.

Tai stopped on a tree. In front of that tree was a clearing and in the middle of that clearing, was Tora. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were surrounding the clearing as well.

"Seme, in position." The voice of Sasuke called out. Tai chuckled a little under her breath. Tai knew that Sasuke had no idea what that word meant.

"Pinkie Pie, in position." Sakura said.

"Super Uke, into position. Hey, Tai, I'm digging these names! It makes me sound like a superhero or somethin'" Naruto called out, louder than necessary.

"Xyn, in position." Tai said, a light chuckle lacing her voice. Tai got to choose all of the 'code-names' for the team.

"Okay, Team Seven, go!" Kakashi said and everyone burst out of the trees and onto the unsuspecting cat. Tora struggled and panicked but to no avail. Tai stood on the top of the human pile, Tora caught in her hand. She was smirking triumphantly while staring at the struggling cat. Memories of Tora being choked by her owner flashed through her mind and Tai acted without thinking much about it. She enlarged her mouth as far as possible before placing the cat in her mouth and swallowing her whole. Kakashi and her teammates ran over to her in panic.

"TAI! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Kakashi asked with wide eyes. Naruto and Sakura just ran around like headless chickens and Sasuke just stood there, staring, mouth agape. Tai Just huffed and turned around.

"What was that for!?" Naruto asked, screaming his head off. "I know the cat is evil but don't just eat it!"

"Now we can't complete our mission and we have to explain this to the Daimyo's wife." Sasuke pointed out, irritated but still shocked. Kakashi looked at her the way you would look at an annoying child.

"Go. Just go." He said, disappointment clear in his voice. Tai quickly left, holding her stomach.

When Tai finally got home, she quickly went over to the wall and did a handstand on it before enlarging her mouth, esophagus, and stomach. The cat fell out of her mouth and quickly retreated to the opposite wall, shaking. Tai went into a coughing fit, trying to get as much hair as possible out of her system before looking back over at the slime-covered, shaking cat. Akira stared at her worriedly, bombarding her with questions which were ignored.

"Be grateful, I just saved your furry little ass." Tai said, before coughing once more. Tora had decided it was a good idea to claw at her insides when she was in there and now Tai's stomach is all cut up.

Over with Kakashi and the rest of Team Seven, they were getting yelled at by a very angry lady.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN SOMEONE ATE MY CAT?" she screamed furiously, her face red as a tomato. Kakashi was waving his hands in a placating manner, sweating out of nervousness. The third Hokage looked on at the fight, completely at a loss for what to do. However, he couldn't help but be slightly happy at what happened to the cat. it always seemed to get loose and everyone was secretly overjoyed it was gone. After the furious lady left, screaming that she wasn't going to pay them, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Now what is this about, Kakashi?" Sarutobi asked.

"We were chasing Tora and when we finally caught her, Tai stood up and swallowed Tora whole." Kakashi explained. Sarutobi looked at him with wide eyes.

"Yeah! If we got better missions than this wouldn't happen!" Naruto pointed out. "We should get better missions. No doubt, Tai ate the stupid cat because he was frustrated with getting such a low-level mission as well!" Sakura bashed him over the head and told him to respect his superiors. The Hokage thought for a minute. He gazed into the 'magic ball' of his to spy on Tai. His eyes widen when he sees Her curled up into a ball on the ground, coughing up blood. Right them, the Hokage makes a devastating decision.

"Okay, You may go on a C class mission. You must escort Tazuna to his home village." Sarutobi said, handing them the mission scroll. "However... Tai will stay here. For both her and your safety." At this, Sakura gasped.

"B-But... We are all a team." She said. The Hokage sighed.

"Yes I know but perhaps It would be better if he sat this one out. There is some... Business... He needs to attend to here." Sarutobi said, giving Kakashi a pointed look. At this Kakashi's eyes widen at the unsaid implications. "Alright, now with that aside... Bring Tazuna in!" He said. Tazuna came stumbling in, a bottle of alcohol in his hands, complaining about how Team Seven didn't look qualified enough.

When everyone was going to go pack up, Sarutobi held Kakashi back. "Is there something you wanted to talk about Sarutobi?" Kakashi asked.

"Yes. I need to tell you that Ino will be examining Tai when you are gone." Sarutobi said. "Also, don't tell him you are leaving." Kakashi nodded.

Back at the house, Tai was laying on the floor in pain. Swallowing a cat whole was not her greatest life decision. She was coughing so much that she had started to cough up blood. Akira was running around the room panicking. Tora was in a corner, licking all the slime off of her body and the pups were on the bed, asleep. Akira was ranting on about how stupid she was to do that and telling her to go to the hospital.

"I'm not going to go to the hospital. If I remember correctly, we should be leaving Konoha and escorting Tazuna to Amagakure soon and if I'm in the hospital, it will mess everything up." Tai said before dissolving into another coughing fit. Despite all of this pain, she still didn't regret saving Tora from her abusive owner.
