Chapter 32: The Storm of Revenge
The winds howled violently as Star Island was battered by a typhoon unlike any seen before. Wousay, for once, wasn’t causing the chaos. Standing atop a cliff overlooking the beach, she frantically waved her arms at Team Vapor, her usual arrogance replaced by genuine panic.
“This isn’t my doing, you morons!” Wousay yelled. “Something much worse is coming, and if you value your lives, you’ll take me seriously for once!”
Vapor leaned back against a rock, arms crossed, his face calm but skeptical. “Uh-huh. Sure, Wousay. What’s next? A meteor attack?”
Mira snickered, tossing a shell into the tide. “She’s just trying to get a free pass to cause more chaos later. Typical villain behavior.”
Rosie rolled her eyes. “It’s probably another one of her lame robots malfunctioning again.”
Before Wousay could respond, the sky darkened further, and a deafening crack of thunder silenced them all. The winds intensified, and the sea seemed to rise unnaturally high. Out of the swirling storm, a shadowy figure began to emerge—a form they all recognized too well.
“It can’t be…” Vapor muttered, his confident demeanor faltering for the first time.
The figure took shape, his body composed of darkness and storm clouds, his eyes glowing crimson. It was Nightmare, the foe Vapor had defeated on Mystic Island, now more terrifying than ever. His voice reverberated through the storm.
“Vapor! Did you think I would let your victory stand? I’ve returned, stronger than ever, and this time, your precious Chaos Rubies won’t save you!”
Nightmare’s Wrath
Nightmare’s first move was a devastating strike—a wave of dark energy that sent the team scrambling. Trees were uprooted, the beach torn apart, and the air crackled with malevolent energy. Wousay, for once, ducked behind a rock, yelling, “I told you! You never listen to me!”
Vapor stood his ground, the Chaos Rubies glowing faintly in his satchel. Mira tugged on his arm. “Uh, Vapor? Now might be a good time to do the thing. You know, the glowing, power-up thing!”
Vapor nodded, his usual calm returning. He pulled out the Chaos Rubies, their vibrant colors pulsating in sync. “Alright, Nightmare. You want round two? Let’s do this.”
He closed his eyes and focused, the Chaos Rubies lifting into the air around him. The energy they emitted intensified, wrapping Vapor in a swirling vortex of light. His body began to transform—his ocean blue hair turned a radiant soft pink, glowing with an ethereal sheen. His casual tank top and shorts morphed into a sleek navy outfit with intricate soft pink patterns, exuding power and elegance.
The transformation didn’t stop at appearances. The air around Vapor crackled with electricity so strong it made the ground beneath him tremble. The team stared in awe as the transformation completed, and Vapor opened his eyes, now blazing with determination.
Mega Vapor Takes the Stage
Nightmare laughed mockingly. “You think a makeover is going to stop me? You’re still just a child playing with powers you can’t control!”
Vapor smirked, his voice calm yet filled with confidence. “We’ll see about that, Also I'm not just no child, I'm Jhon Vapor Brooke Revival, you messed with the wrong 15 year old!.”
Without warning, he shot forward, his speed now far beyond his usual Mach 4. In his Mega form, Vapor effortlessly broke past Mach 6.5, leaving streaks of pink and blue light in his wake. The force of his movement alone sent shockwaves that disrupted Nightmare’s storm.
Nightmare tried to retaliate with another wave of dark energy, but Vapor was already behind him. With a single, electrified punch, he sent Nightmare hurtling into the ocean, the impact creating a massive geyser of water.
“Whoa,” Mira whispered. “He’s not just faster—he’s insanely strong!”
Rosie grinned. “Nightmare picked the wrong day to mess with us.”
Limit Breaker: The Power of a Nation
Nightmare wasn’t done yet. Rising from the water, his form shifted, growing larger and darker. “You may have power, but you lack the resolve to finish the fight!”
Vapor closed his eyes, focusing the Chaos Rubies’ energy into a final move. Electricity surrounded him, growing so intense it illuminated the entire island. The sheer power he generated was enough to make the others feel as if they were standing in the middle of a lightning storm.
“Is it just me,” Geo said, shielding his face, “or does it feel like Vapor could power an entire country right now?”
“Probably two,” Mira quipped, watching in awe.
With a final burst of energy, Vapor unleashed his Limit Breaker—a concentrated beam of electrified energy that struck Nightmare head-on. The force was overwhelming, shattering Nightmare’s form and dispelling the typhoon in an instant. The skies cleared, and the ocean calmed as if nothing had happened.
Vapor floated back to the ground, his Mega form slowly dissipating. His hair returned to its ocean blue, and the Chaos Rubies fell, dim and drained, into his hands.
Aftermath
The team gathered around Vapor, their expressions a mix of awe and pride.
“Well,” Mira said, breaking the silence, “that was… something. You could’ve warned us about the light show, though.”
Vapor chuckled, sitting down to catch his breath. “Didn’t think it’d get that intense. Guess Nightmare really brought out the best in me.”
Rosie patted his shoulder. “You did good, kid. Now, let’s figure out how to rebuild the beach before anyone blames us for this mess.”
From behind a rock, Wousay emerged, her hair frazzled and her face pale. “I tried to warn you, you reckless idiots!”
Mira grinned mischievously. “You mean we saved your life. You’re welcome.”
As the group laughed, the camera seemed to pan out, and Mira turned to look directly at the “audience.” “You know, I’m starting to think every day on Star Island is just an excuse to blow things up and show off new powers. Who writes this stuff?”
"HEY BLOWING UP THIBGS IS MY THING, I WISH THE AUTHOR DIDNT FORGET MY EXISTENCE" Valore Said in an Angry Tone
"PUTANG INA MO, Author" Valore said"Don't think cussing The Author in our own native language is a good way for you to come back, And yes Native as I mean we are Filipino, And We should use some Filipino Culture here, Say, Valore are you Filipino?" Vapor said
