Adriana's POV:
Wes tells me we aren't going to complete the blood rites tonight because he has somewhere special me wants to bring me, he said it was going to take a little while, and we're going to have to sleep in the back of the car tonight because we were in the middle of nowhere in the forest, we were 3 hours out and still no sign of people, a gas station here and there, but nothing much more really. He pulled over and said he had Jack and his fiance pack our bags... He also had Emily go to a nearby store in the past couple of days and get me some "special" stuff... and a few cute outfits I could wear, comfy, but stylish, always how I liked it...
He said I would look adorable in one of the sweatpants she bought me, I can't seem to find any of my old clothes or my possessions... but the stuff in my purse... and even those things had been arranged... I found a new lip gloss that was the same exact one I had before... except this one was new... It still had the packaging plastic still around it... as you refer it to, the seal. I looked up at Wes, as I sat on the back of the trunk of the car, and said, "Wes... Why do I have all new stuff..." He didn't even look at me as he removed some clothes to pick me out some comfy pajamas, he said, "I can't stand his smell..."... "So... I asked Emily to get you a whole new wardrobe, which you would like, since it's old attire and also since you should dress as the role of a wife."
I look at him. He needs to get into the trunk, but I'm still sitting on it, and I refuse to budge, he says, "Okay... You're now making this tricky on me, I can't tell you what to do, so I'll just wait here for you to get off orrrrrrr, we could give a secret deal?" Wes and I always had these little secret deals, when we wanted something or just something of each other we wanted, he or I would either peck me on the cheek or grope my ass or something else... I wonder how this is gonna go, I say, "Secret deal" He shrugs and says alright and puts a smirk on his face, and he tackles me, he picks me up off of the back of the car, he carries me to the side of the car and pins me, and kisses the crap out of me, for 15 mins he makes out with me, and smiles and pulls away, he's been smiling this whole time... I'm believing he's changed.
He walks back to the back of the car, puts the stuff in the back of the trunk, takes out a blanket and some pillows, and places them in the backseat. He asks me if I want to change out of my dress and without a beat he says yes. I say to him, "Well.... I need help getting this off... but afterwards you have to close your eyes..." He smiles and says, "I cannot make that promise... I should be able to see my mate, but if she wants to not be seen, then let it be, but just to let you know, I will keep my eyes open, but I won't directly stare at you, okay?" I smile, "okay.".
We walk back into the forest a bit and he picks up my dress as he walks, he walks barefooted on the ground to find a dry soft spot to take off the dress so it isn't ruined. He had me carry the clothes with. I said to unbutton every button on the back of my dress, to untie the ties, and to slide the dress off since it was so form fitting..... I could tell he was looking up and down my body... He takes a deep breath, he whispers in my ear and says, "You're more beautiful than the first time I saw you like this...." He's behind me, and he wraps his arms around me, gives me a gentle hug that lasts almost like forever... he rocks me back and forth, and kisses my cheek, I just put my head in the crook of his neck, and breathed slowly... It was so relaxing... But it was totally weird because... I was in the middle of the woods, in the middle of nowhere on a freezing cold night, in my underwear... I whisper to him, "it's your turn."
I unbutton his tuxedo, lay it on my dress, he takes off his own pants and hands them to me and I put them on my dress, and I hug him, his warm body against mine... Again... Feels so right... he kisses my forehead, and I tell him to turn around so i can change my underwear... and pee... it's been three hours okay? He smiles and says sure. I go do my thing, and he hands me a t-shirt and some sweatpants, and he just wears the same thing? just different colors. he gets the tux and the dress and puts them against my back, and then carries me towards the car, he sets me down in the ground on my feet and tells me to get in the back seat of the car as he puts the dress and the tux into the trunk of the car.
The weird thing about the car is there's more back space in the car, like he actually set it up to be bigger so we could both lay on the seat it was like the size of a twin bed, I slide in and it's actually really roomy, I lay on a pillow and I close my eyes, I hear some rustling and then a hear the car door shut, and I feel a warm body beside mine, He says, "Do you want me to sleep with you tonight? I can just sit in the front... but it would be nice since this was our wedding night... I could sleep next to you again...." I just groaned "Mpmh huh" which meant yes. he laid down and huddled closer to me, he told me to turn around, i did as told, and he pulled me in closer, he draped his arm over me for a while and then he started to tuck my hair behind my ear... it was something that always put me to sleep.... I whispered as i took my last breath into deep sleep... "I love you" and I fell asleep.
