I feel somebody jumping on my bed, and screaming happy birthday, I open my eyes and see it's Emily, and I see Alex and Derrick at the foot of the bed laughing at Emily, I get up out of the bed and I put my shoes on, I look at the clock, it's 10:59, So close, I run down the stairs to go greet Ryan, he's standing there with my omelet and a happy birthday banner above him, I smile and come over to hug him, I say "Thanks Ryan." he smiles and hugs me back with one arm and sets the plate down, he says, "You're welcome, and eat up birthday girl! you have a big day ahead of you, a secret party spot, and the best birthday gift ever I do say so myself." then he bows, I'm laughing so hard, then I grab a fork, I cut the omlet into fourths, and I shove a piece into my mouth as quickly as I can so I can have the best day ever!, this is so good!, He is so thoughtful, then I finish and he takes the plate, and washes it off, he says, "Would you like a glass of milk before we push off?" I say yes please, and he hands me one after he's done cleaning the dish, I cleared that milk as fast as I could, then "Done!" Ryan smiles, he takes the glass and rinses it off and puts it into the dish washer, and he grabs my hand, he takes me to the entrance and he yells up to everybody, "HEY! WE'RE GOING TO THE BIRTHDAY SPOT HURRY UP, LAST ONE HAS TO PAY FOR GAS!" Ryan quickly heads out the door, and into his truck, he says "You ride shotgun." I slip into the passenger side seat, and Ryan gets into the driver's seat, then Emily, then Derrick then Alex in the back seats as they follow, Emily is sitting behind me, then she blind folds me, Ryan holds one of my hands, he says, "We're almost there, want me to open the windows?" I nod, he opens the windows, I can feel the wind in my hair, the salty taste of the beach it feels like paradise, it even tastes like it too. Haha, then we come to a stop, Ryan says, "We're here!" and I take the blind fold off, It's a Beach party! I love it, the whole reason why I moved out here to California is to be by the beach, I love it.
Ryan gets out of the car and opens my door for me, he closes it and holds my hand once more, we reach the party destination, he sits me down in a chair, in front of a table, he puts Emily's gift in front of me, she gave me The Woflman on dvd, she knows I would die for a copy of this, and she did! I thank her, then comes Derrick's gift, I unwrap it, and I see a ribbon, that's all that's in there, I take the ribbon and tie it around my wrist, the Derrick speaks up, "It's a protection ribbon, kind of like a ring or a bracelet or a necklace, it's to ward of evil, and Vampires like me, but I won't harm you, I promise you and Ryan that I won't, so I made that, it hurt me a couple of times trying to make it but al least I know it works and you know it works right?" Then he shows me his fingers, they're all cut up. I look him in the eyes, I say, "Thank you Derrick for giving me this wonderful gift, I'll wear it everyday, because you put so much hard work and labor into it." and then I smile and he smiles back, then comes Alex's gift, I open it and I find a purse, he coughs up his words, "I hope you like it, I thought since that one that you have now got stolen maybe it's time for a new look." I smile, and I say thank you, it's looks really expensive too, then come Ryan's gift.
He looks down and up, then his last movement was down, and then he says, "I'm sorry Lily, I couldn't find anything that I thought you would like." Then I feel a warm sensation on my leg, it's brushing agaist me, I look down to see it's a golden retriever puppy! I pick it up, I hold her in my arms, I kiss her and love her up as much as I can to stop her from squirming, then I look up at Ryan, he's smiling with his hands in his pockets kicking around the sand with his foot, then he says, "She's about 8 weeks old, and she was the runt, she's very cute, and I thought you would like her, I'm glad she pleases my mate." Then I smile at him, as I'm petting the puppy I feel a ribbon, and it has something on it, I take it off and I look at it carefully, It's a wedding ring! and it's my mom's! Ryan comes over to my side and asks me, "Will You Marry Me, and Blood Rites With Me?" I hug him with the puppy in my arms, I give him a kiss on the lips, and the puppy kisses his lips with me, and I say, "Yes!" he slips the ring on my finger and I show Emily, she jumps up and claps her hands and she says, "Yippee! My BFF is getting married! aww, too bad, now my friends are all off getting married and I'm still here waiting for my face to get stuffed with cake!" I smile and laugh at her joke, Ryan takes his hands out from behind his back, and he hands me a pink leash and a pink collar, I put it on the Puppy, she looks so adorable! Ryan pets the Puppy and says, "She's a cutie ain't she? so, what have you decided to name her?" I think for a moment and then I say, "Bunny." Ryan nods his head and he says, "Bunny it is!" and I put her down and I walk her with the leash, and Ryan's holding my other hand, I ask Derrick to take the puppy for a moment while I cut the cake, I hand him the first piece, then Emily the second, Alex the third, Ryan the fourth and Me for last, then a dark figure comes up from nowhere, then the face comes into view, it's..... My dad!
I really don't want to talk to him, but how did he know I was here? then I hear Ryan, "I called him, you need to talk to him about this, he's the best man to give you advice." I shrug my shoulders, then I punch Ryan in the arm, then I say, "That was for not telling me." he shrugs, smiles and laughs, and says, "I deserved that anyways." I smile back, then my dad is right in front of me, I'm holding Ryan's hand with my right hand and I grab his arm with my left hand. My dad notices the ring, he says, "Hi Ariana, Ryan called me and said he got the present that was meant for you, but for him instead?" Ryan nodded, Dad continues, "In there was a letter, from Ariana's mother and I telling you what to do, and important stuff, but I'm not happy that you gave her the ring so early, but oh well, it's both of you're kids's life now, (I cut my dad a slice of cake while he's talking to Ryan, I hand the cake to Ryan to give to my dad to make a good impression, he passes it on.) Ooh! yummy delicious cake!, but Ryan I need to talk to you privately for a moment sometime before you get married, but to let you know, (my dad looks into my eyes, and he sees.) I give you my blessing to marry my daughter." Ryan and I smile, Ryan puts a hand out for my dad to shake it, my Dad shakes Ryan's hand firmly.
I yell, "LET THE PARTY BEGIN!" and Emily starts going nuts, literally she's dancing her butt off, haha, Ryan holds my hand even tighter, then he lets go as my dad comes in for a hug, he hugs me tightly, and then he unwraps from me, the he comes over to hug Ryan, he unwraps his lengthly arms from around Ryan, he says, "Well, I gotta go, if anything is bothering you, call me, or your grandma, and I love you Bunny." He hugs me again and gives me a kiss on the cheek and takes an extra slice of cake and waves good bye as he gets into his car to leave I wave back to him, there he goes, gone, I pay attention to Bunny, I go get her, I ease her off of Derrick so he can go dance with Emily, Alex is just standing, he has no emotion, is he angry at us? I pick up Bunny and I go over to Alex, he automatically pets Bunny, he says, "Bunny's a cute name for a puppy, good choice, why did you pick Bunny?" I smile a little bit, and I say, "As you can see, when my dad left he called me Bunny, and my mom used to always call me bunny, because I was cute, and I always was kicking, inside and outside the womb, it was a cute name, so I named her Bunny." he laughs and pets the dog some more, I feel Ryan's wolf growl again, then Bunny growls as she reacts to it, Alex pulls his hand away, and says, "Woah! She's geting a little fiesty now, well, this means good bye." Alex gives me a side hug, I can hear Ryan's wolf, even louder than before. "Ryan, Calm down." He immediently settles down. I go over to Ryan, and I hand him the puppy, he says, "Are you tired out?" I nod, Ryan tells everybody to pack up because we're leaving, I get into the passenger's seat, and I lay Bunny on my lap. Ryan packs everything into the back trunk, and everybody's inside, and we exit the beach, I get a glimpse, it's beautiful, the sunset, Beautiful.
