Ariana's POV again:
I wake up, I feel like I'm sitting, I rub my eyes, and I open them, I look down and I see Bunny laying in my lap, I look back up, I'm in a truck, I look over to my side, there's Ryan, I look behind me, there's nothing just a wall, no, this is a moving truck, no, no, no, I'm not.... Ryan. I look over at him, he's holding my hand while he's driving, he can sense I'm confused and angry, he alerts himself that I'm wake, then he says, "I'm so sorry Lily, I should have woke you up sooner, but I didn't want to disturb you from your sleep you looked so rested, and beautiful, I didn't want to wake you up." He smiles an uncanny smile, I'm still mad at him, at you! I dart my eyes full on at Ryan, then he says, "Woah! I'm sorry, it's just something came up, and we're not safe there anymore, so I decided as a leader, as an Alpha, that we should move some where safer." I look at him with an even sharper stare, then he says, "I'll trade you a secret for a secret, okay?" I look at him still while I'm nodding, then he says, "Okay, Alex.... He went off the deep end, he... he's never going to find a mate, and he was targeting you, and he thought you were his, and he said that he could feel your emotions, he could feel you as you were, but you were connected to me.... So, one of the things is if you move far enough away, and stop contacting them, they forget all about you, or get really worried, either or, but Alex is a crier, he's just going to get worried and forget all about this, and the maximum wait for matencty is 20, then if you don't find them, you have no one." I look down, I start crying, it's not fair to have me leave without saying a proper goodbye. Ryan rubs my hand with his thumb and says, "You won't miss everybody, Emily is a part of my pack, and what's your secret, remember?" I start to smile, Emily! Then I say, "Well, when my mom baked cookies there would always be one left and the last one was meant for my dad, and well, I ate them, every time she cooked them, but my dad didn't seem to care, he always smiled and wiped the crumbs off my face, it was a secret between me and my dad." Ryan looked shocked for a moment, then frowned, and whispered to himself, "I shall not lie to my mate." I looked at him, I didn't hear him, and I say, "What did you say?" He keeps his eyes on the road, and says, "I shall not lie to my mate." He keeps looking at the road, he honks at a huge truck, then he says, "Alex told me." and that hits me, I say, "I'm so sorry Ryan, I love you, and I want you to know, and you should have known in the first place, and I just pushed it off the side, I'm sorry, I let Alex kiss me, twice, even after I met you, but I didn't know about mating, I'm really sorry Ryan." He lets go of my hand, and he puts his hand in his lap, he bites his lip, and he made a wall from me, I lay my head against the window, and I pet Bunny, I look out the window, miles of greenery, trees, fences, and deer.
We pull up to this house, it looks like it's just from a catalog, it looks like there's another moving truck, and it's parked by a guest house, I'm guessing that's where Emily will stay, Ryan comments in, all grumpy, "And the rest of my pack." He gets out of the truck, He opens the door, he's still grumpy, and it's about 6 o'clock right now, then Ryan speaks, "Meet my pack, Jake, Will, Emery, Mac and of course Emily." They wave at me, and Emily just smiles while resting her hands on top on one another, Ryan continues, "Go explore." in angry tone, Ryan signals Emily and Mac to follow me, Mac says, "Hi, nice to meet you Mrs. Francis." He bows and rolls back up, Emily does nothing but laugh at him, she grabs my hand and leads me into the house, Mac picks up Bunny and follows us as Emily drags me into Ryan and Me's room, she sits me on our bed, and she sits next to me holding my hand with both of her hands, Mac sits himself on a arm chair with Bunny, he pets her so slowly, he's a very nice guy and I can tell that by him, then I collapse onto Emily, I start crying, she holds me, she hugs me, and when I'm all done, she wipes the tears of my cheeks, and she says, "I know everything Ari, the same thing as Ryan talking to you in your mind is the same for all of us the rest of his pack, I put a wall up from him and I told Mac to too." Mac nods, and she continues, "Ari, this will clear up, when it rains, doesn't the sunshine still come out afterwards?" I nod, I hug her, she continues again, "Ari, I believe it wasn't your fault, and I believe it was, it was Alex's fault at first, and then when you said you'd tell Ryan later, and you never did, that was your fault, but the best thing you can do right now, is let him blow off some steam." She helps me up and makes me stare out the window, I see a giant furball, Emily says, "That's Ryan, whenever he's angry, he runs into the woods for a while, and until he's done, he returns as a happy little elf." I laugh and snot comes out my nose, Emily pulls up her sleeve a bit and wipes it off, I look outside the window again, he's looking at me, his brown eyes, that black fur, stunning, I burrow myself back into Emily's arms, and I cry again, she directs me to the bed and lays me down, and covers me up with blankets, and hands me a body pillow she got from the closet, she says, "Hug it and cry in it all you need to, even punch it if you have to, just remember, Ryan still loves you, and he always will." She smiles, Mac smiles, he takes Bunny and brings her up close to me, he lets me pet her a bit, I know she has to go to the bathroom, I let him take her, he walks out the door with Bunny, then Emily speaks again, "Um, I've got to go, I got to go help Jake, he says he's having trouble with something." She smiles and waves good bye to me as she walks out the door. I burrow into the pillow as hard as I can, and I fall asleep.
Ryan's POV:
"Jake, I don't need any help, you just unpack, let me work out stuff on my own." Jake shakes his head, and he says, "Ryan, I don't think that's a good idea." I growl at him, he backs off, and I change into wolf form, I feel Ariana looking at me, she looks away, then she looks back, I look back at her, and she just goes away, I get enraged, and I run into the woods, I run and run and run, until I get to this lake, I change back to human form and I sit on a rock, how could she, but Alex, I should be mad at him, he caused this! I change back into wolf form, and run, I knock down some trees in the process, I'm angry! Then Emily appears, she says, "You're causing a racket, calm down, and by you trying to be a lumberjack isn't going to fix this, there is an emotional girl and she is your mate, rule #9 "Never upset your Mate." You just broke it, and you need to apologize for your behavior, she has said sorry enough, it's your turn now." I nod then I look down and I look up, and then I say, "Thanks Emily, you always know now to fix everything." She pretends to tip an imaginary hat and says, "That's what I do, that's what I'm here for." Then I look back and I run towards the house, I change back into human form, I get Bunny from Mac, and I hold her while I quietly walk up the stairs, and I open the door as slowly as I can, I walk over to my side of the bed and I put Bunny down in the middle, I lay down, Ari's back is facing towards me, I take my finger and trace the markings, one by one, line by line, curl by curl, I look at her, her arms are wrapped around the pillow so tightly, I feel sadder, I feel guiltier, I speak to her through my mind,
"Ariana, I'm sorry, I really put us in a tight situation, and I realize, this all wouldn't have happend if Alex wouldn't have done what he did, it's my fault now, and I'm sorry and I'm ready to make it up to you, how ever much it takes, I will make you happy again."
