Rio's pov-

Things have been going really well between me and Billie. I was released from the hospital about 2 weeks ago and I've been sober since. I haven't even had the urge to touch a drug. I feel happier and I am finally able to actually enjoy moments that I used to miss out on because I was inebriated. 

I can tell Billie is a lot happier too and she trusts me a lot more. I haven't thought about dying or wanting to in a while and it feels so good to actually be happy. 

My mom still always has a bottle in her hand but I don't let it affect me like I used to. Honestly my life had taken a turn and for the better and it was all because Billie pushed me to be the best version of myself. I owed everything to her. I would forever be in her debt.

Tonight Billie was coming over to my house and we were going to finish watching Cobra Kai. We were on the last season and had been binge watching the whole thing together. 

I checked the time on my phone and saw I had a message from Billie saying she just got off work and would be at my house in about 15 minutes. I brushed my hair and picked up a few things trying to make it look a little cleaner. 

time skip-

 I texted Billie telling her the front door was unlocked and she could just come up. I went to the bathroom and when I came back Billie was sitting on my bed. 

"Hey sexy. I missed you. Come here." Billie said patting her lap.

I walked over to her and sat on her lap, my legs around her waist. "I missed you to. I hate being away from you for long." 

She kissed my nose and tucked a stray hair behind my ear. "I know baby but with me and Fin releasing that song we should be making bank anytime now."

That was true. Billie and Finneas had recently released a song called Hostage and I remember the first time they played it for me I cried. It was so raw and beautiful. They already had people asking to work with them. And Billie's socials had gone up a ton. They had released other songs before but now they were finally getting noticed.

"I hope so but I don't know what would happen if you were famous. I don't want you to forget about me." I laid my head on her shoulder. 

"I could never forget about you my love. Your everything to me."

She started kissing down my neck and grabbing my hips. I started softly grinding against her and she groaned. 

"I wanna fuck you so bad right now." She said in that sexy raspy voice she gets when shes turned on. 

"Then do it." I said starting to take my shirt off. I heard a crash downstairs and we both jumped. 

"What the fuck was that?" Billie yell whispered in my ear. 

"I don't know lemme go check. I don't think my moms home yet. Maybe she got out early."

I got off Billie's lap and walked out the room slowly heading towards the stairs. 

"Billie did you lock the front door when you came up here?" I called out. 

"Shit I didn't. That's my bad is anyone down there?"

"No I don't think so. I'm gonna go lock the door real quick."

I walked down the stairs and that's when I saw him. 

Giggles was standing right in front of me with a syringe in his hand smiling at me. Before I could even scream for Billie, he slammed his hand in front of my mouth.

"I get my money either way. You should have paid me the last time I pulled up because I have a feeling your not gonna like what you have to do to pay me back this time." 

I felt the needle make contact with my neck and my body went limp.
