Kartik is in a city struck by an earthquake where amidst the disturbance, he meets Naira. He is very happy to see her and takes her back only to be shocked seeing Sirat in the hospital.
Sirat had fallen down the temple stairs and their children were crying their eyes out. Kartik tells everything to Naira without any hesitation and Naira accepts Sirat's kids and they decide to coparent.
However, he is shocked to see that not only Naira, but Goenkas too are misbehaving with his and Seerat's kids and under their influence, his and Naira's kids are misbehaving as well.
He tries to stop it but it worsens and he looses his patience finally. Giving divorce papers to Naira to end their marriage, he leaves the house with his children and takes Sirat to start a new life somewhere else.
