He smiled and gave her a small nod, immediately following her. He wasn't much of a cook, especially not the kind to cook something delicious. He was anxious to see what she was going to show him.

"Ok so... remember when I said, the cheapest and easiest food and yet healthy that you can find and have are eggs?"

"He nodded with a smile at the question. He actually did remember when she said that, it had stuck in his mind, since eggs were so easy to purchase and cook."

"How much do you know about cooking eggs?"

He chuckled as he thought about her question. How much did he know about cooking eggs? Not much. Pretty much close to nothing in fact

"I know... virtually nothing..." He admitted with an embarrassed smile

"Ok. So..

Eggs are pretty quick to cook and... burn technically. So.."

She starts to spend 30 minutes teaching him about cooking eggs in different ways, and also, making him do it so he can start having a muscle memory, after a few eggs, they literally have a set of cooked eggs on the table.

"So yeah. If you can cook eggs... you can survive in some what healthy enough... way"

He listened intently as he watched her explain several ways of cooking eggs and teaching him how to cook them himself. After a few tries of him following her instructions, he had successfully made several fried, scrambled, and cooked eggs

"Oh wow... it's easier than I thought it would be..." He mumbled as he looked over the several eggs on the table

"So yes.

You just have to practice to not burn it.

Anyway, we have food."

She turns to her condiments and fridge looking, grabbing certain things, then teaching him what those are and how it can help elevate the egg dish he cooked without much "cooking" involved. Soy sauce, ketchup, some other sauces and pastes and powders or flakes that one can top the eggs with. She tell him to sit down as she got some rice, and told him to taste each egg, just tiny bite of each he cooked, so he can have an idea of how it tastes.. and then told him to use the condiments, powders, pastes and flakes in the next bites, offering him a cup of rice as well as he takes each bites with new flavors and textures of the eggs with the added spices and stuff. She did the same so she could explain things with him.

Castiel followed her over to where she kept her condiments and the fridge, watching as she grabbed various things to season the eggs with. He sat down at the table, watching as she prepared a small bite from each of the different ways of cooking the eggs, a little anxious and nervous. But he quickly became excited and curious as he took a few bites of each egg with the different condiments, sauces, and spices she had provided. He was surprised at how much the different spices and toppings could change the taste of the eggs. And when he took a bite of the eggs mixed with rice, his eyes widened in surprise.

He quickly swallowed the food in his mouth, before speaking up quickly

"Oh... wow... it tastes so much better with the rice... I would never have thought to combine the two together..." He was actually quite impressed by the combination of the rice and eggs, it was just such an unexpected food combination that sounded wrong, but tasted so right.
