Vanessa's life had already felt like a whirlwind since arriving at Alfea, but now it was a full-blown storm. The bond was unlike anything she had ever imagined, a constant hum in the back of her mind that she couldn't ignore. Every emotion she felt seemed amplified, tangled with the emotions of Alexander and Sky. It was disorienting, overwhelming, and strangely comforting all at once.

She didn't know how to explain it to anyone—not even Terra, who had been her unwavering source of support since day one. There were no words to describe the way Alexander's quiet intensity settled her nerves or how Sky's warmth and optimism filled the cracks in her self-doubt. And the strange part? She could feel their emotions, too.

The day after the bond awakened, Vanessa woke up to a flood of emotions that weren't entirely hers. She sat up in bed, her head spinning. There was a strange mix of determination, restlessness, and concern buzzing in her mind.

"What the..." she muttered, clutching her head.

"It's them, isn't it?" Terra said from her bed across the room. She was sitting up, a book in her lap, watching Vanessa with a mix of curiosity and concern.

Vanessa nodded slowly. "I think so."

"Are you okay?"

"I don't know," Vanessa admitted. "It's like... I can feel what they're feeling. But it's not just emotions. It's... deeper than that."

Terra frowned. "That sounds intense."

"It is," Vanessa said, running a hand through her hair. "I don't know how I'm supposed to function like this."

"Well, you've got two soulmates to help you figure it out," Terra said with a small smile. "That's more than most people can say."

Vanessa tried to smile back, but the weight of the bond pressed heavily on her. She wasn't sure she was ready for this.

Later that day, Vanessa found herself standing awkwardly in the courtyard, waiting for Alexander and Sky. Dowling had summoned the three of them for a private meeting, though she hadn't said why. Vanessa's nerves were frayed, the bond humming faintly in the back of her mind.

"Vanessa."

She turned to see Alexander approaching, his usual stoic expression softened slightly. There was something about his presence that immediately steadied her, though she didn't fully understand why.

"Hey," she said, her voice quiet.

"You holding up okay?" Alexander asked, his green eyes scanning her face.

"I think so," Vanessa said. "What about you?"

He shrugged. "It's... a lot. But I'm managing."

Before Vanessa could respond, Sky arrived, his blond hair catching the sunlight. His blue eyes lit up when he saw them, and Vanessa felt a wave of warmth wash over her.
