I might allow for agglutination like the actual Japanese language, and maybe create a family tree similar to the Japonic languages. The Hateruma dialect of Yaeyama, a Ryukyan language, is suspected by some linguists to include a "s-released" [p] as an allophone of the plain [p]. I might add something of a distinction between plain consonants, "s-released" ones, and those with a "dental fricative release" that various IPA charts talk about. I may also consider a distinction between plain, post-trilled, and lateral-released consonants. A lot to think about, though how would the syllabary be modified to accommodate those sounds?

As for number systems, there are a few options, though I'm limiting myself to six, ten, and twelve as bases, thought might add eight as an option. Maybe a system that's dozenal overall but with seximal as the sub-base going on? A lot of creative options. If you guys have any ideas, let me know. I might consider whichever of them is most practical by my current standards.
