Sierra's POV.

Being me is hard. I'm not talking about school.

Ever done something or in my case 'things' that you can't tell anyone, but you need to let it out? Yeah well I'm in that situation right now. I can't write down everything on a notebook, that will be easily found my big sister that always goes through my things. She's 16 years old, beautiful blonde hair, lovely blue eyes and a flattening personality.

As if. Let me rephrase that, she has ugly blonde hair, annoying big eyes and a disgusting personality.

Unfortunately she's the 'pretty' one of the family. She gets good grades, she has a lot of friends, she isn't a liar like me. To sum all these details, she's 'perfect.'

I woke up to the buzzing sound of my alarm clock.

"Argh. Shutup!" I groaned.

I reached over to my phone, tapped the snooze button and rolled to the other side of my bed. It's the hardest thing to do is wake up and actually open your eyes. But I know the drill, in the end I have to get up and do the same everyday routine. I put my hair into a high ponytail and curl the ends. I wear my black skater skirt, my plain white sweater and white converse. I apply my normal makeup routine and finish my look with my winged eyeliner. I grab my backpack and run out of the house.

"Yo Sierra!" Carter yells.

"I didn't know you take a bus to school."

"Well as you can see, I do." He replies.

"What about Viola?"

"Yeah she's probably on her way, I bet she's wasting her time on that hair of hers."

"Hey! Girls can't just throw on clothes and go out of the house with dark circles, we like to look presentable, okay?"

"And boys don't?" He asks.

"Well I'm looking at a mess right now." I say.

"Ouch, that's offensive." He says.

"Sierra! Carter!" Viola yells from the other side of the road.

"Hiya." I say.

"I'm surprised you even made it, ooh did you make sure your phone case matched your outfit too?" Carter teased.

"Ha- ha very funny."

"I know aye, I'm hilarious."

The bus finally arrives and we go inside.

"Oi that's the new girl." I heard a girl whisper.

"I think her name is Sierra." Another girl said.

"You know I don't bite. If you aren't unsure of something just ask me, stop whispering about me." I said.

"Wow she speaks too," the girl said to her friend.

Viola steps in and says, "hun, you should shut that mouth of yours, honestly it can give a whole country a headache."

The girl named, 'Audrey' rolls her eyes and turns back to her phone.

Carter goes off with his group of friends and Viola and me go to the back of the bus and take a seat.

"Oh lemme take a guess, she's the girl that has a rude personality, but at the same time always makes sure that her annoying face looks like Barbie." I say.

"Good guess."

I chuckle and take my phone out to take a quick selfie.

"Aye Sierra, I should be included in the photo." Viola says trying to fit herself in the photo.

"If you insist."

The bus finally arrives at the place I don't want to be in.

"What do have first period?" Carter asks catching up to where we were walking.

"History, the subject I'm always struggling with," I say in a sad tone.

"HA! I have music." He says.

"Sierra don't worry, I have history too, so you're not alone."

I do a tiny happy jump and head off to my locker to get all my things. Being the clumsy person I am I drop my books and bend down to pick them up.

"Aren't you lucky my locker is next to yours darl," Carter says helping me with my books.

"Thanks, but don't 'darl' me." I said.

"Have fun in history Sierra." He teases.

I roll my eyes at him and finish getting my books. I check the time and realised I'm late to class, so I run as fast as a can knowing how stupid I look. I knock on the door and when it opens, all eyes lay right on me.

"Sierra, you're late."

"No really? You're lucky I even came." I thought to myself.

As much as I would love to yell that out, I'm not risking that on my second day of school. So I ended up saying, "sorry I had trouble finding the class."

Which was half true, I just couldn't open my locker but that would be a mistake to say that out loud.

"Right. I'll let it slide this time, but I'm expecting you to be early next time."

I take a seat next to Viola, looking around to see if anyone is still looking at me. I spot that Audrey giving me a dirty look, and I take that as an opportunity to smile at her nasty face.

Hey you know what they say right?

Kill m'with kindness.
