That's Carter^^^ ahh so cute 😍
Sierra's POV
The school day was finally over, talking to Audrey was weird. She seems like the type of girl that would ask questions that aren't necessary, and then she would probably go on and laugh about it and tell her friends. What's next, she's going to ask me about my worst fear so she can use that against me.
I may be exaggerating but I still feel like she's trying to do something. Not that she can.
*Phone rings*
"Hello?"
"Uh.. He-y, it's Carter, I got your number from Violet."
"Oh it's alright."
"Yeah, so do you want to go to the park or something? You know, hang out, we don't have to go to the park if that's too lame, maybe somewhere else. If you want."
"Yeah sure, I'll get ready now."
I hanged up the phone and opened my closet.
"Ugh why don't I have any clothes?" I said to myself.
I actually have a lot of clothes, but I'm bored of them. Therefore I have no clothes.
I ended up wearing denim shorts with a plain black shirt. I put my hair in a high ponytail and curled the ends of my hair.
Okay even though we were going to the park, I still wanted to look decent. Of course, I had to wear my hightop black converse shoes.
"Hey mum I'm leaving... To um, go to the park."
"By yourself," my mum asks.
She always likes to know basically, every detail, including what I'm watching on YouTube.
Then again, many parents to that concerned adult thing.
"With a friend actually."
"Which friend?"
"Just a friend, bye mum." I give her a smile and go out the door.
The walk is only 5 minutes from my house so I was alright with walking.
I saw Carter leaning against a tree with a smirk starting to appear on his face. I have no idea why he's smirking, but I guess I'm about to find out.
His blue eyes started to become brighter as the sun got in his face.
He started brushing his fingers through his light brown hair as his smirk turned into a friendly smile.
"So why were you smirking?" I ask elbowing him.
"No reason." He he chuckled.
"This is stupid." Carter says with a pissed expression, "why on earth would I ask you to come to the park with me? Look I'm sorry I have to go, I don't get what's up with me."
I chuckled at his confusion.
"What?" Carter asks brushing his fingers through his hair.
I couldn't help but stare at his blue eyes. His light brown hair looked so soft I wanted to feel it through my fingers. He caught me staring of course and I turned away quickly.
"I know right, I'm hot." He says smirking.
"Being cocky are we?"
"More like honest, lets face it I'm such a pretty boy." He says nudging me.
"Pretty boy? As if!"
Okay I hate to admit it, but yes he was one of the most hottest boys I've ever met. His smirk messes me up, it's like the ocean is trapped in his eyes, his hair could be the most softest thing I could ever feel, and don't get me started on his laugh.
But I would never admit that out loud, my thoughts are crazy.
My phone rings interrupting my thoughts.
"Hold on, it's my mum."
I walk away from Carter as I press answer.
"Hey mum."
"Darling, you need to come home, your sist-er," I could hear my mum crying softly.
"Wait, she's not starting to.. Is she?" I ask.
My sister had a sad past. Even though we hardly get along, I still worry about her.
I never knew why she was so sad, but she always kept her secrets close. She went on an overdose of pills 6 months ago. She spent most of her time in her room crying, when she came out she never said a word to any of us. Our father left us when I was younger. I never knew if that still affected her, but something told me that it was something else. She started smoking, drinking and she was basically drunk almost every week. It affected her health, but she never cared.
I sighed and went back to Carter.
I'm scared for her, she's my sister.
"Carter I'm sorry, but my mum needs me for something. I'll see you tomorrow though, we should continue this."
"Oh... Okay sure yeah, laters."
I ran back home, because who needs a taxi when you can exercise.
I open the front door of my house with my keys.
"Mum!" I run up to her, I could tell that she was crying. "Is it happening again?"
"I don't know, I found a small bag full of drugs in her room, she said she was out with friends but I don't think she is."
"It's okay, I'll call her." I reassured her.
I hate seeing my mum going through this. I can't imagine having a daughter like that.
My sister's name is Cassidy if I forgot to mention that. I run upstairs to call her.
But of course she didn't answer me, she never does. She hardly talks to me, and when she does she uses her annoying attitude.
It wouldn't hurt to look through her stuff... I mean, maybe she hid other things.
I'm not looking forward to what I'm about to go through...
