1.5/24, for you project
With distance hopelessly attempting to keep your cherry lips away from mine,
truly nothing can make this horror of slow-riding time more effortless than the remembrance of you.
The feeling of music harmonising with my soul, reminding me how easy it'll once be.
Because you feel like those impatient butterflies of the first teenage sentiment knocking on the doors to my stomach to ring the bells of comfort.
like a kind sunrise that comes later than expected, leaving us with more time,
like waking up to breakfast in bed on a slow morning,
like trying on the just right pair of shoes,
like a high that doesn't make you dizzy.
Oh, my sweet sweet love, you feel silk touching my now soft warm skin,
like late-night talks accompanied by hot tea with just the right amount of honey,
like the perfect amount of pocket change at the convenience store,
like the first spring shine lightly laying its lips on my mind,
like watching the first blooming flower with the rise of summer on the sad winter plant
My kind beautiful creature, who gently opened the gates to heaven -
I don't need to be a Buddhist to see, you make Nirvana real just here in my living room.
Your kind heart has taught me that all I need is just your love to inhale another breath that you so gracefully take yet time after time with no worry.
In your arms as I lay my restless mind knows nothing but safety and contentment.
I am not sure where I found this luck that you bring into my days with such ease.
All I am sure of is - with your body on the horizon, mine will never be closer to divinity.
Amun-Ra, Allah, Karma, Mahābrahmā, which diety may my heart thank for their generosity in composing the symphony that was your path intertwining with mine?
Because like a warm Sunday afternoon in Autumn,
like fresh snow in December, just in time for Christmas,
like a warm blanket wrapped around us, like welcomed constraint..
Home, home is what - my darling - you feel like.
