Author's POV:

Days pass on and now everything is changed. Ansh was hardly staying home, coming home late after office and leaving early. Sofia and Ansh hardly see each other, themselves at home but also in the office. Ansh tried to stay away from Sofia, he acted as if she never existed.

Sofia was loving this, staying away from him, away from his abuse, but somewhere in her mind, she thought that he might have got a mistress outside. Of course, her thinking was obvious: girls would simply throw themselves at him because of his handsomeness. And how would he live without taking out his frustration? he might be having a sub-dom relation with someone.

Sofia was in the car, going to the office. They now traveled separately, a decision made by Ansh after the incident. She was staring outside the window, her mind wandered,
"had he got a mistress or a submissive".
She felt used and discarded, a mere object in his life. She didn't crave his aggression, but she longed for some reaction, a sign of acknowledgment, a simple conversation.

Suddenly, the driver slammed on the brakes, the car jolting to a halt. Sofia, startled by the abrupt stop, was thrown forward. Snapping out of her thoughts, she turned to the driver and asked,
"What happened?"

The driver, voice laced with fear, stammered,
"Ma'am, we're surrounded by... someone's men."

Sofia, her heart pounding, asked,
"What?"

The driver, his voice trembling, replied,
"We're trapped, ma'am. They've surrounded us."

Sofia's heart pounded in her chest as she glanced at the rearview mirror, then the side-view mirror. Black colored cars, like ominous shadows, surrounded them. She felt a cold dread creeping over her.
"What the hell is going on?"
she demanded.

She was about to open the door and confront them, thinking they might have mistaken her for someone else. But before she could act, the driver intervened, "Ma'am, please don't go out. Stay inside, we can't take risk."

He quickly activated his Bluetooth device and discreetly drew a gun from his waistband.

The driver, voice laced with urgency, spoke into the Bluetooth device,
"We need backup. We're trapped. Send the bodyguards immediately."

As the men from the black cars stepped out, intent on capturing Sofia, the driver made a desperate move. He exited the car,gun drawn, and engaged the attackers. A sharp crack echoed through the air, followed by a cry of pain. The driver had been shot in the arm. Sofia's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the grave danger she was in.

The car door swung open, revealing a young woman who forcefully grabbed Sofia's arm and dragged her out of the vehicle.
"Leave me , You've got the wrong person."
Sofia struggled, her voice filled with fear and confusion.

The woman smirked, her eyes glinting with malice. "Oh, no, darling. You're exactly who we want."

Before Sofia could fully comprehend what was happening, the woman forced her into the car. With a swift, practiced move, she pressed a handkerchief soaked in a sedative over Sofia's mouth and nose. As the drug took effect, Sofia's consciousness began to fade, and darkness enveloped her.

SOFIA'S POV:

My head throbbed, a dull ache pulsing through my temples. My eyes fluttered open, met with a stark, dimly lit room. What I remember last is I was kidnapped and then that girl drugged me. Panic surged through me as I realized my hands and legs were bound to the chair. A cold sweat broke out as I tried to move, but I was trapped.

"What the hell is happening?"
I shouted, my voice echoing in the silent room.
"I'm not who you think I am! Let me go!"
I struggled against the restraints, my heart pounding in my chest.

I strained my ears, listening for any sound, any sign of life. But the room remained eerily silent. A sense of dread washed over me as I realized I was alone, trapped in this dark, ominous place.

The door creaked open, and the same woman from earlier stepped into the room. Her expression was cold and calculating.
"He'll be here soon. Don't do anything stupid,"
she warned, her voice low and menacing.

"Who the fuck is he?"
I shouted, my voice filled with anger and defiance. But the woman just smirked, her eyes cold and unyielding.

"And I'm a person not a puppet that..." I shouted, frustration boiling over.

But before I could complete my sentence , the door creaked open, and a wave of a Divine scent filled the room. A man stepped in, his presence commanding attention.

I looked at him, met his amber eyes, and a wave of recognition washed over me. He was the same man , the one who tried to hug me forcefully. Fear, cold and sharp, gripped my heart. How could he be here?

I was lost in his amber eyes, their intensity both captivating and terrifying. With a casual grace, he pulled up a chair, and placed it in the middle of the room exactly in front of me and sat, one leg casually draped over the other. His posture exuded a domineering aura, a stark contrast to the fragile woman he held captive.

Finally, I managed to find my voice.
"Who the hell are you? And why have you kidnapped me?"
I demanded, my voice trembling with fear and anger.

He smirked, a cruel twist to his lips.
"Just a few minutes ago, you were denying any involvement. Now you're demanding answers"

How he knows that what I said?
"Still, who are you? And why am I here?"
I demanded, my voice filled with confusion and fear.

He leaned forward, his eyes boring into mine.
"So, you didn't tell your husband about us...our small meeting? So he could have introduced me to you, couldn't he?"
he asked, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

I was mocked, yes I should have told everything to Ansh before.

"Yes, you could have asked Ansh to introduce us. But you didn't. Why so?
he pressed, his tone growing more menacing

I was shocked is he reading my mind or what?

Seeing my silence, he stood from his chair I thought he would hurt me to open my mouth but he began to untie the ropes with which I was tied with the chair.
He saw my shoulder and kept staring. I realised my top was torn when I was struggling to free myself from that girl's hold, but what's there to stare that long? That mark! That leather belt mark!! He saw it fuck.

I don't want to save Ansh's respect but at least I don't want his rivals to know about our relationship.

"Um... It's just an old injury mark,"
I stammered, trying to play it off casually.
"Nothing like what you're thinking."

"And how do you know what I was thinking? Wasn't that the answer for everything ?"
he asked, his eyes narrowing.

He knew I lied, my face turned red in embarrassment.

"Don't worry,"
he said, a sinister glint in his eyes.
"We won't treat you like that bastard husband of yours."

"Mind your words,"
I snapped, a surge of anger coursing through me. He may not deserve my support, but he doesn't deserve disrespect from his rivals, in front of me.

He laughed, a cold, mirthless sound.
"Girl, he's abusing you, and you're worried about his reputation?"
he scoffed, his voice dripping with disdain. With that, he turned and left the room.

I was now free, yet trapped. The darkness of the room enveloped me, a stark contrast to the chilling words he had left behind. My mind raced, a whirlwind of confusion and fear. Why had he kidnapped me? What did he want from me? And would Ansh ever come rescue me or me might be busy with his mistress? He had almost forgot my existence how could I expect.
