34.A twisted truth!

Sofia's pov:

I'm heading to Kiara's room. Yeah, I know, after what happened last time, I should probably avoid her. But something about her just doesn't sit right. She's not what she shows herself. I'm determined to figure it out today. I challenged Ansh to make things normal with her, but I know how stubborn these siblings are. So, I guess it's up to me to help him a bit.

I knocked on her door, and she replied
"it's open."

As I stepped inside, I found her gazing out the window, lost in watching the stars . I asked ,
"Are you missing Adrik?"

She whirled around, her eyes wide with shock. It seemed I'd hit the nail on the head.
"Girl, are you crazy or what?"
she exclaimed.
"How dare you come here after all that drama?"

"Drama? Which was already written by you?"
I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't piss me off ,girl. I'm not in the mood"
She warned her voice was dangerous.

"So, how will you know what message Adrik sent for you?"
I asked, a mischievous glint in my eye.

I turned to leave, but she called out to me,
"Hey!"

"Sit. We can talk,"
she said, gesturing to the chair beside her.

I chuckled at her sudden change of tone after hearing Adrik's name. I took my seat.

"You know very well, last time When I was kidnapped by Alexander, I met Adrik as well,"
I reminded her, after she was behind it.

The memory of my kidnapping flashed before my eyes.
I began to tell her, I started, my voice low and serious.

FlASHBACK STARTS

I'm caged in this dark room.A few minutes ago, I met a man with amber eyes. I didn't know his name then, but now I realize it was Alexander, the same man who first came to meet me.

A few minutes later, the door swung open once again. A man entered, his aura even more dominating than the first. Though they shared similar features, I could sense a different kind of power in this one. I guessed this must be his brother.

Same like his brother he took a chair, placed it in the middle of the room Exactly in front of me and sat.

'what's your name"
He asked in his cold voice

Should I say Sofia oberoi or Sofia Ellis. I was confused. Fuck the surname

"Sofia"
I answered in a low voice.

"There's a thing called surname,"
he retorted, his voice dripping with arrogance.

"Sofia Oberoi,"
I replied, my voice barely a whisper.

I could feel the shock in his eyes but suddenly
He gave a sinister smirk. Is he going to kill me?

"Oberoi?"
he mused, his smile widening.
"It seems familiar to me"

"Who are you?"
I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

"Adrik volkov"
he replied, his voice carrying a sense of authority.

Terror gripped me as I heard the name
'Adrik volkov.'
A  name closely tied to Kiara.

"What you want from me"
I asked trembling.

"You think you could give me anything?"
he laughed, his voice echoing through the room.

"Then why am I here?"
I asked, confusion evident in my voice.

"My brother kidnapped you, not me,"
he replied, his voice laced with a dark undertone.

"Please let me go, no one's going to come here and beg for me as per your brother's plan" I pleaded
