After, a much needed break, I went to join Jewish Discord servers, I first joined "Judaism", yep, that's the discord server's name. 😅
Honestly, I felt ignored, you get members talking to each other, when you engage in their conversations, they flat out don't even acknowledge your existence. I truly felt unwanted and ignored again, so I left, because I have caused them some troubles....To be honest, it was actually my fault because I was giving advice that was incorrect.
I have since learn more than I have, at that time. I joined this other server called "Jewish Community" on Discord. Baruch HaShem. 😭
One of the best servers that I have ever been too, no more fights, arguments and people blaming. No more drama, a server that has channels dedicated to asking more about Judaism with knowledgeable people, and an "Ask The Rabbi" channel, though that is exclusive to Jews only.
Nevertheless, through joining interfaith servers, I have slowly journey onto Tanakh studying, I started all the way from Bereshit(Genesis) and currently in Kings as I am writing this. Yeah, I procrastinated a lot. I made a promise to myself to at least read 2 chapters per day, so try reading Tanakh by your own pace, if you can only read 1 per day, it is fine. However, you should remember well the contents that you have read. I would recommend Sefaria or Chabad's Tanakh, as it also includes commentaries. So you would not be confused as you read the chapters of the Tanakh, or if you prefer listening to Tanakh studies, you can go on Netiv, which is a channel for Noahides, they sometime invite Rabbis to their channels, however... I would recommend two rabbis in particular: Rabbi/Rev Yaron Reuven, and Rav yosef Mizrachi Rav zamir Cohen.
While being new to Judaism, I came across Rabbis that are considered heretical by other rabbis, one of these heretical rabbis are "Manis Friedman", one of his videos that was titled something like "Drinking coffee and setting things straight.", I am not sure if this is the right title but, it features him with another rabbi that I watched, that Rabbi also has a similar view of things to Manis Friedman, in my opinion. Maybe, I do not understand what he truly means, however, I would like to say to all the people reading this.
DO NOT harass any of these people that I have mentioned, but if someone asks you about them, just say that, their words are often misunderstood and are heretical, so. DO NOT recommend anyone to their channels either.
Baruch HaShem,
These two rabbis I recommend to you, was recommended to me by Natan the Kohen, or at least, that's what he addresses himself on Discord. Props to Natan, the son(By this, I mean a halacha male descendant of Aaron.) of Aaron.
I was uneducated in Judaism, I did not know the people in the book were still with us thousands of years later, they have remained much like their ancestors, they did not really change much of their views to the point that they go worship other idols.
Except Messianic Jews, messianic jews are Xristian Jews who retain their Jewish customs, but believe that the Messiah has already come.
Let's move on.
