That night, when the fight ended, Gun leaned against the wall, wiping sweat from his brow, his sharp eyes fixed on you. You'd pushed him harder than expected, but this wasn't the kind of progress he'd anticipated. Something about the way you fought—it wasn't normal.
Later, as the training hall emptied and silence settled in, Gun pulled out his phone. His fingers hovered over the screen before typing a quick message to Goo.
Gun
Come over. I need you to fight her.The reply was almost instant.
Goo
Me? Fighting your little project? Finally getting tired?Gun
No. Something's off. I need to see how she handles you.Goo
Say less. I'm in.The tension shifted the moment Goo entered the training hall.
"Looks like it's my turn, Princess," he said, pushing off the wall as you approached. "Don't worry, I'll go easy on you. Maybe."
You glanced at Gun, who stood off to the side, arms crossed, his expression unreadable but unusually tense.
"What's going on?" you asked.
"You've learned to fight against control," Gun said, his voice clipped. "Now, let's see how you handle chaos."
Goo grinned. "Chaos is my specialty. Let's see if you can keep up."
You stepped into the center of the room, shaking out your hands and rolling your shoulders. Goo wasn't like Gun—he didn't fight with precision. He thrived on unpredictability, overwhelming his opponents with speed and sheer audacity.
From the first move, Goo darted around you, his energy more taunt than attack. He threw quick jabs, testing you rather than landing hits.
"Come on," he teased, dodging your first punch with ease. "You've got to do better than that."
You stayed focused, keeping your strikes controlled. But every time you thought you had him, he shifted, darting to the side or slipping just out of reach.
Something inside you changed.
Your breathing steadied, your stance adjusted, and your presence darkened. You weren't reacting anymore; you were moving with purpose, but it wasn't your own. The room's noise—the sound of Goo's taunts, even Gun's steady breathing—faded. All that remained was the fight, and you weren't in control anymore.
Gun's sharp eyes narrowed, unease flickering across his face. "What the hell...?" he muttered under his breath.
Your strikes grew sharper, your movements relentless. Goo's grin faltered when he saw your eyes darken, a look that Gun recognized all too well.
"Whoa, okay," Goo said, raising his hands to block a punch aimed at his jaw. "Someone's turned it up a notch—"
You didn't hear him. Your elbow shot forward, catching him in the ribs. He stumbled, tried to counter, but you twisted out of the way and struck his thigh with a powerful kick.
"Gun," Goo called out, dodging another strike, his tone sharp. "What the hell is going on with her?"
Gun's arms dropped to his sides as he watched you, his mind racing. This isn't normal. This isn't just instinct—this is something else entirely.
Goo tried to create space with a feint, but you closed the distance in a heartbeat, landing a brutal punch to his shoulder. He staggered, shock flashing across his face.
"She's not stopping!" Goo yelled, desperation creeping into his voice. "Hey, maybe step in before she kills me?"
Gun stepped forward, his expression grim. "(Y/N), that's enough!" he called, his voice loud and firm.
