You were sitting alone in the canteen when Daniel, Zoe, and Jiho approached. "Can we sit with you?" Daniel asked with a shy smile.

Though you wanted to be alone, you agreed, knowing Daniel was a genuinely nice person. "Yeah, sit down," you replied, quietly returning to your food. Zoe sat next to Daniel, who was beside you, and Jiho took the spot next to you.

An awkward silence fell over the group, with only Daniel asking Jiho occasional questions. Suddenly, Zack and his friends entered the canteen. He glanced over at your table, looking annoyed, but you cheerfully waved at him.

You had meant to thank him for the jacket, though you'd forgotten to bring it today. When Zack looked away, you pouted, thinking maybe he didn't see you.

Zack turned to a guy in black sunglasses to avoid looking at you. "I heard you lost to that pretty boy, Zack," the guy laughed. "Now you're dragging around these losers."

"Yeah, I lost to the pretty boy," Zack admitted coolly. "But I could probably take you."

"Who's that guy?" you asked Zoe, who sighed.

"That's Vin Jin from the Vocal and Dance department. He and Zack are always picking fights with each other," she explained as you studied Vin Jin.

"And your friends are just as weird as you," Zack chuckled at Vin Jin.

"Hey, you wanna die?" Vin Jin threatened. Zack raised a fist but stopped just short of hitting him.

"Try me," Zack taunted.

You watched as Vin Jin swiftly grabbed Zack by the collar, the tension in the canteen escalating quickly. His speed caught you off guard, and you couldn't help but be impressed. Your eyes stayed locked on the two of them, ready for what might happen next.

Your gaze drifted to a table in the corner, where your eyes met someone strangely familiar. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't quite place him. He had that striking, idol-like look—dyed hair, effortlessly handsome, surrounded by girls. The longer you stared, the more it bothered you, until you realized you'd been looking for too long. Embarrassed, you quickly turned away.

"H-hey!" Daniel's voice snapped you back to reality. You looked up to see him calling out to someone.

Vasco, the leader of Burn Knuckles, walked over to your table, glaring at Daniel. "Who are you? You know me?" Vasco asked. "You've never been taken down, huh?"

The four of you were shocked by Vasco's sudden hostility.

"Chill, he was just trying to make conversation," you said, glaring at Vasco, annoyed at how he was treating your friend.

Vasco had heard plenty about you—the stories, the rumors, the reputation that you carried. In his eyes, you were trouble, the kind of person who didn't belong at his school.

The moment he spotted you walking through the hallways, a simmering frustration built inside him. He didn't like it. And now, standing in front of you, he wasn't just going to stand by quietly. He needed to make sure you knew exactly who you were dealing with.

Vasco squeezed both your and Daniel's shoulder with impressive strength, but you didn't budge. Daniel, however, struggled to withstand the pain. No one had ever survived Vasco's grip, but there you were, unfazed.

Vasco looked at you in shock. You weren't amused.

You and Daniel both pushed Vasco's hand off your shoulders, and you squeezed his wrist with the same strength he had used on you, making him flinch.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," you muttered, still annoyed.

Zack and Vin Jin both looked shocked, and you gave Zack a simple smile.
