One evening, a few weeks later, the group gathered at the Boneyard again. The familiar crackle of the fire and the sound of waves crashing against the shore filled the air, but there was a different feeling in the atmosphere. A feeling of peace, of closure, and of new beginnings.
Grace sat with John B. and JJ, her heart lighter than it had been in ages. The conversations had been hard-messy at times-but in the end, they had all come together stronger. She still wasn't sure where things would go with any of the boys, but she knew that whatever happened, they would all face it together.
"Can we just agree on one thing?" Kiara said, sitting next to her. "No more secrets. No more pretending. We're a team, and that's how we're gonna stay."
Grace smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. "I think that sounds perfect."
As the fire crackled and the stars twinkled overhead, the group sat together, a little older, a little wiser, but still bound by the same friendship that had brought them all together. They didn't have all the answers, and they didn't need them. All they knew was that they had each other, and that was enough.
For the first time in a long while, Grace felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be.
