A Change Of Heart (Hiccup x reader)

3. Animal House

I laughed as I sped down the hill on Storm's back with Hiccup next to me on Toothless. It had snowed the night before so we were on a hill that was covered in snow racing down it on our dragons a bit like sledging but more fun.

Hiccup whooped.

We swerved in and out of all the trees and I leaned forwards making my body closer to Storm's and this made us get in front of Hiccup. I smirked turning back towards Hiccup and tapped the crown of Storm's head and she swished her tail swinging snow in Hiccups face. Storm made a noise at the back of her throat which sounded like a laugh.

"Hey! Cas!" He yelled.

"Oops did I do that?" I yelled back trying to keep my laughter hidden.

Hiccup lent down towards Toothless moving in front of me. Toothless held up his wing right in front of my eyesight. "HEY!" I yelled. Trying to see over Toothless' wing. "Not fair!" I said to Hiccup.

Toothless moved his wing. Finally. And then I saw a branch I screamed. It hit my head making snow fall in my face but I didn't get hurt sometimes I hate how smart Hiccup is.

I wiped the snow of my face,"So it's going to be like that huh?"

"I have no idea what your talking about!" Hiccup exclaimed.

He turned his gaze forwards. Big mistake. I patted the side of Storm's head and she got the hint and opened her mouth firing a blast towards a snow drift in front of Hiccup and Toothless. They sped right into it and spun out of control while I laughed and Storm made a sound at the back of her throat which sounded like laughter. "Hey!" He yelled.

"It was her idea but I approve!" I yelled back.

Storm growled proudly and shot a blast up into the sky.

"CAS!" Hiccup yelled.

I thought it would be another joke so I rolled my eyes and smiled turning around. My face morphed into one of shock as I saw the avalanche following us shortly behind us.

I turned to look in front of me for somewhere that will help me and storm get into the sky to fly away.

I saw a snow drift and a curve in the land and sped towards it I lightly tapped Storms wings to let her know she needs to take off at this bit.

When we got the the dip I screamed as we shot into the air,"Yeah!" I yelled.

I watched Hiccup come up the hill and I saw the avalanche shortly behind him. He shot into the air then back down I saw Toothless' tail was frozen.

"Hiccup!" I yelled worried.

He climbed onto Toothless' tail and tried to open the fake tail up.

I looked ahead and saw a trench in the land and grew extremely worried if Hiccup fell down that he'd be buried alive.

"Ah! Hold on!" I cried flying towards him.

"No go back!" He said as I got to him Storm looked at him worried.

I extended my hand out for him to take.

He grabbed my hand and I was just pulling him up when we neared the trench falling down it and so did our dragons.

"Cas?" Hiccup shivered.

"Over here. Hiccup I'm freezing," I responded.

"Come here," He said.

I moved over to his voice and felt his arms wrap round my waist and I wrapped my arms round his trying to get as warm as possible.
