5. In dragons we trust

Today we were practising trust falls. I felt the wind flowing threw my hair and felt so at peace.

Storm swooped down under me and caught me. I smiled and pet the side of her head as praise.

She growled happily.

And we flew up to the others,"Excellent demonstration Cas!" Hiccup said enthusiastically.

"Okay! Okay! She only got to demo cause she's done it before remember the day we did the best tricks competition?" Espen said.

I nodded,"Yes so that makes me an expert at this!" I gave him a wink he rolled his eyes. I chuckled.

"Right then complainer go ahead its your turn!" I said to him.

Espen huffed and jumped of his dragon. The wind walker shot down after him immediately and caught him. "Ha who's the expert now?" He asked proudly.

"It's not about who's better it's about trust, Espen," Astrid pointed out I smirked proudly,"You too Cas."

I glared at her playfully. As she had her turn.
Hiccup went next and Toothless did cut it a bit close.

When Hiccup returned back up to us he said,"It's your turn jump!"He said encouragingly to Fishlegs.

"I don't wanna jump,I" Fishlegs said distressed.

"You have to believe she's going to catch you!" Hiccup tried. "It's a trust exercise!"

"I like to do my trusting on the ground thank you very much!" Fishlegs said stubbornly.

I gave the boy a sympathetic look. I knew why he was worried Meatlug wouldn't be able to get to him fast enough. I was scared the first time too but after a while it became natural.

"Like this chicken legs!" Snolout said and slid of his dragon plummeting to the ground.

"Wa ha-ha hoooo!" Snotlout yelled.

Hookfang however didn't dive to fetch him strait away he kept on flying thinking nothing of it.

"Should we mention something to Hookfang?" Asked Tuff.

"Let me sleep on it," Ruff said in response.

I laughed.

Astrid soared Stormfly over to Hookfang and yelled,"Hookfang get him!"

Hookfang looked over to Toothless. Toothless roared at him probably said the same thing to Hookfang.

Hookfang looked shocked just realising. And tilted his head down in fright to look at Snotlout.

"Not feeling the trust!" Snotlout yelled up and spun towards the ground right above Mildews hut and I gasped in worry.

Hookfang dived after Snotlout. And caught him but they were coming into the ground to fast and before I knew it they had hit Mildews hut. Oof.

Snotlout screamed and shot out of the hut up into the sky still screaming the classic Snotlout scream. And he shot up to us. Well Snotlout needs to practise.

"Oh something tells me we're going to hear about this," Hiccup said unsure.

"You mean you are going to hear about it right?" Espen asked.

Hiccup looked at him an irritated expression on his face as we flew back to the arena. As I was leaving with Storm trailing behind me I whispered."Good luck!" To Hiccup he would definitely hear about this.

"Cas you have to go to Mildew's house and patch up his roof tomorrow!" My Dad yelled as I shut the door.
