CHAPTER 22

“WHERE IS HE?!” Jungguk yelled at his trusted right hand man as the other flinched slightly.

“B-boss..i-i had gone to eat something and when I returned h-he was gone.” Bogum whispered while looking down as the other clenched his fist in anger and rage.

“Argh! You are useless!! Just get the fvck out of my sight!!” He yelled as the other nods while hurriedly rushing out before Jungguk would do something to him.

Once he was out he sighed as he smirks while removing his mask, Choi Bogum.

Taehyung's childhood bestfriend and well, he really did work for Jungguk due to circumstances in his family. He had no other choice back then and later on Jungguk threatened him to not leave or else he would kill his loved ones.

But when Jungguk brought Taehyung as his captive, He couldn't take it anymore.. seeing his own bestfriend in distress and cuffs as a flashback comes across his mind.

FLASHBACK:

“You don't want to eat huh?” he said while tightening his fist on the blue haired male's locks as the male cried in pain, “P-please.” Taehyung begged, literally joining his bloody hands together while sobbing hard but the man was heartless as he harshly kicked Taehyung's abdomen as the male's back hit the floor, coughing blood.

He felt the air being knocked out of his lungs, his ribs crushed and body filled with pain all over.

The guard was about to crush Taehyung's ribs when a cold voice resonates in the room, “Leave him alone!” the voice was stern as the guard bows at the man and leaves immediately.

BOGUM POV:

I was passing through the cell as I heard some painful cries and screams and i instantly recognised whose it was..Taehyung.

I hurriedly went towards the door of the cell as I peeked in to see what was happening as my blood ran cold with the sight infront of my eyes.

I took in a deep breath, trying to not act suspicious as I went in with a cold look on my face while signalling the guard to leave as the guard bowed down at me and left. Thankfully.

THIRD PERSON POV:

The man, whose face wasn't that visible to Taehyung as the light was behind the man approached Taehyung as the male just slid back in fear as the man's steps came to a hault.

He was standing still for a few moments but then he bends down on his knees so that light could fall on his face and the male could look at his face.

As soon as the light fell on the male's face, tears fell from Taehyung's eyes as he cried hard while crawling weakly towards the man and hugging him tightly as the other person hugs him back while gently caressing his locks.

“Shh I'm here... I'm here.” he whispered while softly pecking the crown of his head while the other just cried hard in his embrace.

“B-Bogum shi..” Taehyung cried as the other male just caressed his locks softly while kissing the crown of his head.

“I am sorry I came late Taehyung ah..” He whispered while hugging the other tightly as Taehyung shook his head while wiping his tears away.

“T-thank you for everything Bogum..” He whispered as Bogum shook his head while wiping the other's tears.

“L-listen to me T-tae hmm?” He said while cupping Taehyung's cheeks firmly but gently as the other just stared at his bestfriend.

“I-i have a plan ok?” he whispered as the other looks at his bestfriend in shock and disbelief as he wipes the tears off his face with the back of his hands.

“W-what plan?” He asked as Bogum looks around, making sure nobody could hear them as he leans forward while whispered in his ears.

“Gguk is going for a mission this Saturday. I don't know what sort of mission but one thing I know for sure is he won't be back until Sunday afternoon. Just make sure to escape by then. I'll keep the place out of security check so the escape wouldn't be that hard hmm? Rest you need to figure out.” He said as Taehyung's eyes lit up as he instantly nods while tears slipped from his eyes.

“I-i can't thank you enough for this Bogum shi..” he said as the other smiles weakly while wiping off the tears from the younger's face.

“Shh calm down hmm? I've to go now ok? Gguk might come at any minute.” He said as he stood up as Taehyung nods in understanding and with one final glance, Bogum left the place while shutting the iron hopes while filling the other's heart with hope.

“Thank you so much, Choi Bogum..”
