●CHAPTER 15●

There was a tense silence in the studio as the members were sitting on the wooden floor and their Manager, just a 21 year old young man, Hwang Donghee was pacing in the room which talking to someone on call.

As soon as he was done he looked at the worried expression of the members as he sighed in defeat, “I informed the Seoul police but Y'know how it works..” he said in a soft tone, he knew the information would affect the members.

“They won't file a missing report until the person is missing for atleast 24 hours.” he said as the members were furious at this point, “Why wouldn't they file a report?” Namjoon asked in annoyance because of how corrupted the authorities had become now.

“The hospital CCTV clearly shows Taehyung leaving the hospital Joon. In such a situation it's obvious for them to not file a report.” he stated the facts which made Namjoon sigh in defeat.

“We can't just sit back!” Jin said furiously as Donghee sighed while nodding, “I know i know... Taehyung isn't even picking up our calls, his phone is switched off..” He said as Suga banged his fist on the floor.

“Why can't you just ask SeJin? He can atleast track Taehyung's last location?” He suggested as Donghee looks at Suga and sighs while adjusting his glasses and going through his iPad, “I did.. SeJin says the last location tracked was of Gangnam Restaurant which is like 40Km from here.” he stated as Jimin's ears perked up.

“Why don't we go and search for him there?” he enquired which made Donghee sigh because he has already tried everything, “I went to Gangnam yesterday evening, Taehyung wasn't there Chim. I checked CCTV but found nothing at all..the cctvs there were sabotaged, and nobody even saw Taehyung.” he said while sighing in defeat as the faint hope shattered among the members.

“What about Jaekba cafe?” Arianna asked as Donghee furrows his brows, “Why would he go there?” he asked as Arianna's heart felt something, a glimmer of hope?

“T-tae goes there when he gets stressed or s-sad. I-i think he might have gone there? The cafe's also very close to the hospital.” she said as Namjoon nods at Arianna's statement..

“He might have visited that cafe Donghee.” Namjoon assured too as Donghee nods while tapping on his iPad, “Sure thing. I'll check Jaekba cafe—”

“Can I come.. please?” Arianna plead as Donghee looks at her for a moment and then nods slowly in understanding, “Sure.. you can—”

“I want to tag along too...please?” Jimin said as he looks at Donghee who looked at him with pity for a while as he nods slowly.

“Sure Hyung, no need to plea.” he said as Jimin gives him a weak smile, greatful for the younger's understanding.

The three of them sat in the black Mercedes Benz of Donghee, he owned one himself as Jimin sat in the back seat and Arianna in the front as all of them buckled their seatbelt.

“Ready?” Donghee asked while the other two nodded, determination evident in their eyes as Donghee drove off to Jakeba cafe which was nearly, 13 KM away from Hybe building.

Within half an hour, they reached the cafe as Donghee looks at the other two, “Please wear masks and well..I will inquire in the cafe and come until then wait here ok?” he said in concern of their safeties as the other two nod and Donghee got off and went inside the cafe.

He entered the small Jakeba cafe, it was a takeaway place for Taehyung where he would calm himself down as Donghee went up towards the familiar Old lady as he bowed at her.

“Ahjumma” he called out as the old lady fixed her thick glasses and looked at Donghee with wide eyes, “Yah Donghee ah..what happened?”

Jimin and Arianna were impatiently waiting in the car as Donghee came back and sat inside the car as he looks at the two of them.

“You were right.” he said while looking at Arianna as her breath hitched as Donghee continued.

“The Old cafe lady told me that Taehyung had called her.. because we need to inform in advance if we were to visit...” he said as Arianna looks at him as her heart thud with fear.

Jimin's heart was at uneasiness, he couldn't stay calm..he knew something bad had happened and his heart asked him to prepare for the worst as Donghee clenched his fist while looking at them, his own heart paining with the news he got.

“...but he never made it to the cafe.”
