CHAPTER 24

Taehyung glanced at Arianna as she just nods in an assuring manner and slowly stood up while giving an encouraging smile to Jungkook as she walked out while softly closing the door.

The Maknae looks up at his Hyung with fear and hesitation in his eyes as he let out a shaky breath and hesitantly took a step forward.

“Hyung..” He called out, tears welling up in his eyes but he held them back as his Hyung's gaze softened while looking at the Maknae's teary eyes.

“Come here..” He called out softly while patting the bed beside him as Jungkook hesitantly walks up and sits beside Taehyung as the other just looked at him.

“I-i am sorry.. really s-sorry for e-everything.” Jungkook stuttered badly while looking down as tears were freely flowing down his cheeks. He didn't have the courage to look up at his Hyung.

“Hey hey shh.” Taehyung said while pulling the younger in his warm embrace as he gently pats the maknae's hair while pecking the crown of his forehead.

“You don't have to be sorry Koo...” he assured as the Maknae broke down into heavy sobs and tears, “H-how could I not? I-i was harsh towards your h-hyung-” he stuttered while burying his face in the elder's chest as the other just tightened his grip on the younger.

“Shh everything's alright now hmm?” he said while softly drawing soothing Circles on the younger's back and soon enough the younger seemed to calm down which relieved the elder.

“I'm here Koo.”

“I've to leave right now!” Gguk said as he got the news that the agents were after him because of kidnapping Taehyung. His secret source were never wrong.

“Bogum the plane tickets are ready yea?” He asked to which Bogum simply nods his head in agreement, “Yes Mr. Jeon, everything's set.” He said to which Gguk nods and finished zipping up his bags.

“Let's go.” He said to which Bogum nods while walking to the car as he sat in the driver's seat and Gguk sat at the back and soon enough Bogum buckled up his seatbelt and started the engine as they drove off.

He kept on driving for a while as Gguk wasn't even paying attention to his surroundings. He was just busy on his laptop, planning missions he would take up in France. Yes, he was flying to France in an hour.

Bogum soon enough pulled up the car as Gguk looks out and furrows his brows as he sees the car stopping infront of a random building.

“Bogum where are we?” He asked to which Bogum glanced at him through the rear view mirror, “Mr. Doh wanted to meet you before you fly to France Mr. Jeon. He said it was a 3 billion deal.” he said to which Gguk widened his eyes as he looks at Bogum.

“Let's make it quick.” He said while shutting his laptop and getting off the car as the two of them walked inside the building and as soon as they were in, Gguk was handcuffed as his eyes widened.

“You're under arrest Jeon Jungguk.” Jae-Joon said coldly as Gguk's expression turned into one of anger and fury, “Bogum YOU LITTLE BASTARD!” He cursed as Jae-Joon just shoved Gguk inside one of the metallic cells as Bogum just stared at Gguk with emotionless face.

“You deserved it Mr. Jeon.” he said quietly as he then looked at Jae-Joon and sighed, “Officer arrest me.” he said to which Jae-Joon furrows his brows as Bogum continues.

“I might not have committed a crime but I've helped this criminal in alot more ways than you could imagine.” He confessed as he extends his arms and Jae-Joon's gaze softened as he gently handcuffs Bogum.

“You'll be under arrest for 6 months Choi Bogum.” He whispered to which Bogum nods and slowly walked into the cell into which he was lead into.

Finally he was at peace knowing that he saved his bestfriend and also brought this man behind the bars for his doings. He was finally happy that things had settled back for Taehyung in a happy manner and in a peaceful way.

His mind and heart were at ease knowing that his dear friend would finally live a normal life.

Kim Taehyung somehow was strong enough to face the storms of his life and the ups and downs which fate had thrown at him but still one final thing was left before he would be at peace and his name would be off the black mark list.
