CHAPTER 35

Jungkook was working out in his gym as he was fully drenched in sweat and panting heavily.

“You look like you need some rest, Mister.” He heard a familiar female voice as a small smile tugged at his lips.

“Here comes my trainor.” he said dramatically as the lady laughs as she walks up and sits on the sofa across him as Jungkook was lifting weights, “Trainor for the rest of your life.” she said while chuckling as Jungkook rolls his eyes playfully.

“Yeah yeah I know..” he spoke as he kept the weights down as he sat up while wiping his sweat with a towel.

“So, what brings you here?” he asked as he grabbed the bottle of water and chugged it down as the lady smirks, “Can't I see my hot and sexy, soon-to-be Husband?” she asked and Jungkook nearly choked on his water at the comment.

Oh wait, he literally choked as he coughed hard as Chae laughs at his reaction.

“Calm down my muscle bunny.” she said as Jungkook playfully glares at her, “You're unpredictable Chae..” he whispered as he rubbed his chest to calm his breathing down.

“Am i turning you on?” she asked as Jungkook raised a brow at her, she was always the flirty queen.

“Pretty much...and if you continue this then I might fvck you hard.” he said and this time, Chae's cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.

“How is she doctor? Is my wife ok? W-what about the baby?” Jungguk asked in fear as the doctor sighs while removing his mask..

“It was really complicated and we thought none would survive..” the doctor spoke as Jungguk's breath hitched as his hands began to sweat in nervousness, “Your wife survived..and your child too..your child surviving was a miracle but thankfully the stab wasn't on the child, it was slightly away from it..” he said as Jungguk sighed in relief while stumbling back.

“T-thank You..thank you so much doctor.” he spoke as the doctor nods as he flashed a polite smile.

“You can meet them once they've been shifted to their ward. They'll be shifted to room number 341” he spoke as Jungguk nods as the doctor walks away.

After Jenna was shifted to her ward, Jungguk entered the room and saw her unconscious on her bed as he walks up to the chair beside the bed and gently holds her hand in his, “You're so strong Jen.. really strong” he whispered while planting a kiss on her palm as his gaze fell on the crib beside Jenna's bed..

His baby girl

As a bitter chuckle left his lips as he looks at his wife's peaceful expression as she was unconscious. He slowly caressed her cheek and tugged a strand of hair behind her ear, “You're beautiful and strong, my sweetheart.” he whispered as he pecked her forehead as he stood up and walked up to the crib.

He slowly knelt down and looked at his baby girl, she was sleeping peacefully, her tiny hand slowly clenched into a small fist. He gently and hesitantly picked her up as he stared at her sleeping face as a drop of tear rolled down his cheeks.

As he sobbed while holding his baby close to his chest, “Y-you're a warrior you know that?” he choked on his tears as he wiped them with his other palm as he carefully held his baby as if she was a delicate piece of art which would shatter if held too tight.

He planted a soft kiss on her forehead as he looks at her, “I love you baby, A-Appa will do anything to protect you” he whispered as he had a bittersweet smile on his lips.

“Appa will protect you from whomever who tried to harm you baby..my girl.” he whispered as gently placed her back in the crib, the baby was still weak, Afterall she was born in her 7th month and she would be kept under doctor's care but he'll make sure to keep his baby safe as he looks at his family.

The two people for whom he would sacrifice his own life to protect them. If danger would come, it would have to pass through his dead body before touching them, and he swore to protect them...until his last breath. No matter what.
