CHAPTER 31

It was a chilly winter evening in Seoul, and there sat Arianna on the swing in their garden, lost in her thoughts. She had been discharged from the hospital a week ago and things had changed.

She herself couldn't digest the fact that she overcame death and that her surviving was a miracle. She couldn't even imagine what Taehyung must have gone through in those crucial hours.

"Ari.." she heard a deep but soft voice call her name as she snapped her head up and looked at Taehyung who slid open the glass door of their mansion and entered the garden with a glass of pineapple juice as he handed it over to her.

"Thanks Tae." she replied while grabbing the glass and sipping the liquid. The juice was tasty and juicy enough, just as she likes it to be.

"Areum slept in her crib and well Mom is playing with Hana in her room." Taehyung said while sitting on the grass infront of her as Arianna looks at him.

"Why do you sit down? Why not on the other swing?" she asked as Taehyung chuckles while shaking his head, "Because.." he said as he looks at her with love and adoration in his eyes.

"You, Kim Arianna are my love, my life and my devotion. The goddess who blessed me during my darkest hours and my goddess must always be above me. You will always be ahead me in every aspect of life Ari.." he said while gently holding her palms and pecking it.

"I love you Kim Arianna."

Jungkook entered his mansion as he switched on the lights as his precious dog, Bam rushed towards him.

"Bam." he called out cheerfully as he bent down and embraced his dear one, "How are you?" he asked as Bam barked and wiggled his tail as the younger one laughs.

"Did Chae feed you?" He asked while standing up and walking towards the kitchen as Bam followed him while wiggling his tail as the Maknae laughed at his cuteness.

"Are you perhaps lying?" Jungkook asked playfully as he grabbed the box of pedigree from the shelf as he rolled up his shirt sleeves.

Bam sat down as he looked expectantly at Jungkook as the other smiles while pouring the food in his plate, "Well Chae might pull my ears for over feeding you." he said while laughing as his phone buzzed as he looks at the caller ID

"See? Speak of..argh Angel." he said while picking up the call while looking at Bam, "Greetings, Chae." he chirped energetically as the lady on the other end laughed at the other's child like behaviour.

"Koo.. are you home yet?" she questioned as Jungkook smiles to himself while nodding, though she couldn't see it, "Yes my dear fianceé." he said while smirking to himself as he could imagine his fianceé turning tomato red.

"Yah Coconut Head!" she said, as Jungkook laughed while looking at Bam, "well my son here says his mom didn't feed him." he teased as Chae internally rolled her eyes at the comment.

"Right. Your son has been starving as in." she commented in sarcasm as Jungkook laughed, “Chae, sweetheart tomorrow we will be going out.” he said as he grabbed a pan to cook some dinner for himself.

“Where to?” Chae's excited voice resonated through the phone as Jungkook laughed at her cuteness, “To my beach house. You always wanted to visit it right?” he asked as he opened the microwave to take the lid out but was surprised.

“Soon-to-be Mrs. Jeon, did you bake this cake for me?” Jungkook asked teasingly as he could imagine his fianceé's cheeks flushing red as a smirk appeared on his lips at the thought.

“Uh yeah, you love choco lava cake right?” she said as Jungkook smiles while pulling out the plate of the cake as he smiles to himself.

“Thank you Chae.” he genuinely said as Chae chuckles on the other side of the call.

“Always Koo.. you're my everything afterall.” she said as Jungkook smiles to himself. God how much he wanted to hug the lady on the other side of the call but he couldn't practically do that at that point.

“I love you sweetheart.”

“Love you too babe.”

“Jen I'm back!” Jungguk said while entering the wooden house as the house was eerily empty which wasn't giving a good feeling to him.

“Jenna?” he called out while walking into the house while placing his keys on the coffee table but still he got no response.

“Kim Jenna!” he yells slightly while walking towards the small room at the corner— their bedroom.

As soon as he opens the door, he gasps in shock and horror as he sees Jenna, lifeless on the floor with blood surrounding her. She was unconscious.

He immediately rushed towards her, “JENNA!!” He yelled while patting her cheeks with his shaky hands as tears slipped from his eyes, “Jenna open your eyes please.” he begged as he checked for a pulse as his gaze then fell on a bloody writing.

Hey cuties, sorry for the late update. The next update might be still more late because my exams starts from 27th of December and then I have pre boards in Jan and boards in Feb. My schedule is packed but I might give the next update in Jan 1st week on 31st of December. Let's see. Anyways
