CHAPTER 23

“Jungkook..” Jin calls out softly as the other just stared at the wall infront of him numbly.

“Jungkook ah..” he calls out again but the younger was in deep thoughts to even make sense of his own surroundings as the elder sighed.

“Jeon Jungkook.” He called out with slightly higher tone as the younger snapped out of his thoughts while looking at the elder and instantly a drop of tear rolled down his cheeks.

“What happened koo?” he asked softly while wiping the younger's tears with his thumb as the other bit the bottom of his lips while shaking his head.

“I-it's just..i-i never thought Gguk would turn out so evil..” he said as Jin hugs him tight while the Maknae just buried his face in the elder's neck.

Eversince Taehyung returned, he has been silent about everything. Namjoon had taken him to the doctor for a checkup and the doctor informed saying that the younger had suffered from a severe trauma and anything sensitive would easily trigger him and that they need to keep a good check on his condition from time to time.

He didn't even talk to anyone, would just sit on his bed all day and stare out of the window. That's when the members realised how much he has suffered this year and Jungkook?

He has been guilt tripping himself. Blaming himself for his Hyung's condition. He knew if he had never embarrassed his Hyung infront of the media, if he hadn't been so harsh..then atleast he wouldn't have suffered that much.

Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts as Jin hugged him while caressing his locks softly, “It ain't your fault Koo...none of this is your fault..” he whispered while pecking the crown of his forehead as the younger just closed his eyes to feel the warmth of the elder's lips.

“But Hyung..i-i failed as a brother..Gguk h-he-” He stuttered as tears slipped from his eyes as he shut them tightly while biting the bottom of his lips a little too harshly making it bleed slightly.

“Jungkook!” Jin yelled slightly as the younger looks at him as the elder immediately wiped the blood with his thumb.

“Gguk went in a wrong path, I agree..but this is not your fault ok? None of this is. I know what you guys did to Tae in my absence was wrong but Taehyung been kidnapped...none of that was your fault.” He said firmly by shaking the younger's shoulder to knock some senses into his brain.

“Jae-Joon will find Gguk soon and he'll be punished for his deeds. Revenge blinded him but he'll be out of it soon. Gguk isn't a bad person.” Jin further explained as Jungkook clenched his jaws and balled his fist in anger.

“Isn't a bad person? He literally would've killed Hyung—”

“Jungkook stop!” Jin said as he cups the younger's cheeks as the other stares at the elder as a sigh escapes his lips.

“I-i can't even face Hyung..” he mumbled while looking down at his lap as Jin shook his head while caressing the younger's locks, “Taehyung wouldn't be angry nor scared of you Koo..j-just go and talk to him..” he adviced as Jungkook looks at Jin with a hesitant look.

“A-are you sure Hyung?” he asks as the other nods with a smile on his lips, “damn sure..just go and talk to him hmm?” he said as the younger nods his head.

“Tae?” Arianna calls softly as she looks at Taehyung who didn't even react, just looking out of the window.

“Tae Tae..” she called out again as Taehyung looked out of the window as a low sigh left his lips.

“hmm?” he asks softly as he finally looks at Arianna as she walks up towards him and engulf him into a soft hug as the other just hugged her by her waist, pulling her closer while burying his face in the crook of her neck.

He finally felt at home.

“How are you bear?” She asks softly while caressing his locks, she's the only one to whom Taehyung had been talking to since he had returned.

“Good..” he whispered in his deep husky voice with his eyes closed and arms tight around her waist as Arianna smiles softly while kissing his neck and locks.

“You're safe hmm? Nothing to worry about..” she assured as the other just nods without speaking anything while Arianna drew small soothing circles on the other's back while made him let out a soft, relaxed sigh.

“Thank you Ari..” he mumbled as she just smiles while caressing his locks, “did you eat?” she questioned softly while waiting patiently for his response.

“hmm I did..” he replied as Arianna smiles, “good boy.” she said as she gently broke the hug and cups his cheeks while showering his whole face with pecks while made the other giggle slightly.

“Ari stop.” He said softly as she smiles wide, “No I won't, the smile suits my future husband.” She said as a smile instantly formed on the other's face.

He was just staring at Arianna and that's when the room door slightly creaked open as Taehyung's eyes fell on the person who entered the room as his smile slowly faltered.

“H-Hyung can we talk?”
