Khathus POV
( Month after the wedding)
Married life is amazing my wife are happier than ever. We decided to hold on with our honeymoon and combine it with our babymoon before the baby is born. Today I am at one of our offices working. It's around twelve, Zinhle went to work todays as well. I have a lot of emails to get through. As I am going through emails, I get a call from the receptions she tells me that I have guest waiting for me which is odd because I don't take meetings on Mondays because they are my admin days. "Let them through please" I say. I continue working until I hear a knock on the door. I tell them to enter. I see no one other than Mr Cele himself, he looks very odd. He walks in takes a sit and just looks at me. I am visibly mad to say I am pissed is an understatement.
This man literally body shamed her in front of me, attempted to kill then he tries to validate it. Like who does he think he is walking through in this room like he owns it. We just stare at each other until he starts.
" Congratulations on the wedding. I see you went through the marriage knowing that I disapproved." He starts taking a sip of his water.
"Yes I did. I married the women I love, I don't see why I needed your approval. Given the fact that you disowned my wife and you attempted to kill me." I say
" but she is my daughter. Plus you guys wouldn't have gotten married if it wasn't for me. we had a fucken deal and you guys didn't meet your side of the deal." He says
" I am not the one who tried to kill me. if I remember correctly you tampered with my car and I nearly died. Then you admitted to killing me in front of family." Losing patience
" Son I know I messed up. But my family is struggling your in-laws. My family hates me now. my kids and wife won't talk to me at home. We live in the same house but no one is speaking to me. ngiphila kab'hlungu ekhaya" He says emotional.
" I mean you created this mess." I say. I mean its true I'm the one who told him to tamper with my car. Treat my wife like a guest in her own house. Imagine he is crying because of the problems he created.
" My marriage is on the rocks son. My kids are fully ignoring me. they blame me for missing their sisters wedding my wife is pissed that I made her miss her first borns wedding. We moved back to eNewcastle. I am literally the laughing stock of the place. My lifestyle has downgraded badly. I lost all my friends. I have nothing. I can't show my face because of how embarrassing this is man. I know I messed up completely. I was blinded by money I lost everyone." I says now crying
" you are only apologizing because you feel bad. You are apologizing because you miss your status and money. Your ego as man is destroyed and you are trying to fix it just for you to act the same way once your money enters your account." I say looking at him without any emotion " seeing your face makes me angry all over again. leave this office I never want to see near my family." I says getting irritated by this man as I am talking I see the text from my wife ~hey baby, please don't forget we have our pregnancy check up today. Hope you have a good. I love you see you later <3~. I smile remembering that I am seeing my baby later on today. I look back at him he is still sitted on my chair.
" Mr Cele, I need you to leave. I have to go see my pregnant wife. I would really appreciate if you leave." I say he looks at me confused.
"She's pregnant? Oh, how long were you planning on keeping my grandchild away from us?" he tells me " lets hope this baby does come out as fat as it's useless mother and angry as it's father." I loss it and stand up and slap the living daylight out of him. Then I starts attacking him. Who does he think he is talking about my family like that. As we are fighting my PA and the guard pull me off this old man who is on the floor.
