I am current 6 months pregnant with twins. And I feel like a whale. You guys know that I am a plus size girlie and but being pregnant with twins made me look so huge. But Khathu keeps telling me I look good; I feel like he is lying. Anyways I know you guys are questioning why I am having a baby shower really late well life happened. My father-in-law passed away, we became parents quite quickly and we had to figure out a schedule that would work for us. We found her a good school nearby. It's a private school that we both love and we the values they teach and just how the kids in that school carry themselves. She's thriving, I was worried that she was going to have a hard time adjusting but her teacher s told us that she's doing amazing. But when did grade 2 homework become so hard yho! Sometimes I leave the homework duty to Khathu because nope!
But also Lethu got engaged to Mandla! Khathu and I helped him with the proposal, and it was amazing obviously to her taste. Then she got Lobola'd she's on the road to being Mrs Ngema. Also, she loves being on auntie duty. And Nduvho loves her so much too. The Mulaudzi family have been stepping up to being part of her life too. She always goes to visit my mom in love her in Joburg and have sleepovers with her aunts.
That's a life update. This weekend is finally our gender reveal. Lutendo, Lethu, Mulalo & Murunwa planned this entire event. All we did was provide the budget obviously. Nduvho is so excited she believes that she's getting sisters, but Khathu believes he is getting his twin boys this argument has been going on in our house for the past two months. I also quit my 9 to 5 mainly because I want to focus fully on content creation also being a mom and wife. so, in technical words I'm a stay-at-home wife/mom. I love this for me this year has been a complete 360 in my life. Imagine I am no longer a Cele I am Mrs Mulaudzi, I am a mother to 1 beautiful daughter, and two babies baking in my belly. WOW.
Anyways I just came back from fetching Nduvho from school and since today is Friday I took her to Mc Donalds to get an afterschool meal and something for me too. We came back home and changed out of her uniform I took out her lunchbox from her lunch bag. I gave them to Aus'Busi. We sat outside together as she told me about her day. I try to limit her screen usage especially during the week I don't want her to be an iPad kid I want her to have a proper childhood without the internet also I think she's still young for a device. As yet and this rule will apply to all my children.
" Mommy, is tomorrow the party?" Nduvho asked, we are sitting outside on the patio while she is jumping on the trampoline her uncle bought for her. she's so spoilt but I love it for you
" yes my baby we are going to find out if you are going to have baby sisters and brother." She squeals with excitement I just laugh at her excitement. I asked Aus'Busi to bath Nduvho so I can make supper for my family. I decide to make roasted chicken, steamed broccoli, yellow rice and chakalaka. A simple meal because I'm pregnant and tired.
As I was finishing up cooking the garage door opened. I turned to look at him he looked at me with a smile. He walked to me and hugged me and kissed me,
" hey bestie boo," then he kissed me again,
" hey bestie boo, how was your day?" I asked then her released a huge sigh and puts his head on my shoulder
" it was long... tiring I just wanted to come home to my family." He says the he rubs my belly " how was your day? How are the twins treating you?" he asked
" I am fine, the twins are fine I'm just tired."
" every dinner I am going to give you a nice foot massage. Where is Ndu..." before he could finish his question she came in running towards us.
