Zinhle's POV
(The next morning)
I woke up with Egyptian cotton on this bed is amazing guys people are living softer than me and that's insane. Anyways I go into the shower take a long shower, do my skincare routine and style my hair into a messy bun. I wear my Nike tights and my black hoodie with white Nike socks and crocs.
I walk down the stairs and find Mr Mulaudzi working in the kitchen with coffee. "Good morning Khathu." I greet him and he removes his glasses to look at me and greets me " good morning Zinhle." He says with a smile. We ask each other how we slept and normal stuff you ask in the morning.
I offered to make breakfast, so I made my famous scrambled eggs with bacon with avo and ciabatta bread. With coffee on the side for him and tea for me. we are sitting together while eating.
"Did you vlog this while you made this because people need to see this creation." He says while eating
"I didn't but thanks for the compliment." I say with a blush we continue eating.
"Uhm...Khathu, can we talk about yesterday?" I say looking at him.
"Yeah, sure have you thought about it?" He asks me
"Well yes, uhm I do want to see where this goes. I do have feelings for you, and I won't let fear come in between us finding true love I guess so I don't mind doing this with you. I'm standing ten toes down with you." I say and I see a smile forming on his handsome face.
"I'm so happy you feel the same way. I promise you won't regret it Zinhle." He says with the cutest smile.
"But can we like slow down a bit. I know we are married and stuff, but can we still not share a bed as yet?" I ask
"yes, that's fine Zinhle."
After breakfast he goes to his study to work while I edit the lobola vlog I obviously won't post it now because I want to work on us before the public finds out you know. Plus, I'm taking a break from vlogging for a while. I've been consistent for the past 3 years I need a break yho sana. But I'll definitely vlog the "honeymoon" trip because I still want to have content on standby.
After hours working on Content Creation and also my Job Job, I see Khathu coming out of his office look do yummy omg guys! "Zinhle please start getting we are going out for supper tonight for an official date and stuff. I bought you a dress online it should arrive in the next 30 minutes so please start getting ready." He says to me.
"omg we're going on our first date hubby. Where are we going?" I ask
"don't worry about that. All you need to worry about is getting yourself ready beautiful." He says then leaves.
I stand up go up stairs and go to the bathtub and pour some bubble bath liquid and some bath salts with my iPad to play some series while I soak. After soaking I go into the shower to wash my body properly. Being a slightly bigger girl hygiene is something I don't play about at all.
When I come out of the bathroom, I find a beautiful black dress that is body hugging and with a high cut. And some ysl heels with gold jewellery. This guy really went all out with our first date. I love it sana.
I walk downstairs to find Khathu waiting for me with his keys and phone in hand. He looks so handsome in his all-black outfit. He is wearing a black button up shirt that is not fully buttoned up leaving part of his chest out and man, man, man. With black formal pants and Christian Louboutin shoes. His Rolex watch and his manly scent. My man looks hot.
"You are beautiful Zinhle I hope you know that." He says and I actually believe it
"Thank you. You look handsome too." I say blushing
We leave and head to a restaurant in Sandton. We drive and the car ride was actually nice we sang songs I took a few videos lol. We arrive at the marc, and we walk to saint we go to our table. I order a spicy mule cocktail and Khathu orders sinful saint cocktail.
"Do you like this place?" he asks me
"Yes, I've always wanted to come her but never got the chance to. "I say
"I'm glad you like it." We continue speaking until our drinks arrive and we order food. I order Fire roasted sirloin, smoked mushroom sauce, zucchini, fries and Khathu orders Wagyu Sirloin, served with vegetables.
While we wait, we start talking about us. "So, are you sure you want this?" he says
"I'm sure Khathu." I say. He stares into my eyes
"Why are you asking?" I asking
"Because I don't want to put my all in something while you put one finger in. I don't want to be hurt at the end because I truly like you so much Zinhle. So if you're not serious please tell me so I can keep you at arm's length for the next 2 years." He says a mouthful with hurt evident in his voice.
"Khathu please trust me when I say that I'm all in. I am willing to give us a shot. But I can't be if you're doubting me already. Whatever is hurting you or making you think like that if you don't deal with it its going to ruin our relationship before it's starts. I promise I'm in this fully. Take my word for it." I say softly but stern holding his hand.
"Okay, I'm sorry for pushing my insecurities onto you it's just that when I love someone, I love them with no bound." He says to me.
Our food arrives we pray for the food then start eating. After eating Khathu pays the bill, and we go home. When we arrive home, we change out of our outfits and decide to watch movies together on the TV while cuddling and getting to know each other even more. I learn more about his childhood how he grew up.
This might be one of the best first dates I've ever on in my life. If this is the confirmation God has given about this relationship, then I'll take it.
