"But Dad-" Katherine whined as she glared at her dad. Nicklaus frowned at his daughter's childishness.
"Stop whining Katherine, you're either working with Nathan, or you are out of the project." he commanded not leaving her any other choice.
"Okay fine, but this is the first and last project I will be working with him." she replied making him chuckle.
Nicklaus watched his daughter's retreating figure, as she walked out of his office. He knew she hated Nathan with passion. But he didn't have a choice.
Right now he needed someone to keep her occupied. He needed someone who could dare to stand against Ashton Wallworks, and Nathan Hyde was the only option available with him.
He picked up his phone and dialed a number he thought he wouldn't call again.
"Hello?" a familiar high pitched voice replied.
"I want you in London as soon as possible." he barked into the receiver.
"But what if I don't want to?" she challenged him.
"Don't even think of acting smart bitch. You have time till tomorrow morning, if you are not here by then you are going to face the consequences." with that he hung up.
It's high time for him to play his card. He knew what was right for his daughter and he's not going to stop at anything. No matter how low he had to stoop.

With every passing minute Ashton grew impatient. He was going to see his Adriana again. The mere thought made him grin like an idiot. God! he was obsessed with this girl. He really needs to get a hold on himself.
He was abruptly brought out of his thoughts by his phone. He picked it without checking the ID.
"Missed me baby?" he heard a familiar high pitched voice. He groaned in frustration.
"What do you want Rita?" he barked into the receiver.
"I heard you are in London, so I thought of paying you a visit." she purred.
"Don't even think about it." he warned her.
"Baby you sound so stressed. I can help you relieve some." she offered seductively.
"Look Rita, you have caused enough damage and I don't want you to cause any more. Just stay away from me." he growled.
"Sorry baby, but I can't." he could feel her smirk from other end.
He has had enough of her. So he just hung up on her . He knew she wasn't the kind of woman who would give up. And he knew she is going to show up again.

Katherine looked out of the window trying very hard to ignore Nathan's intense gaze on her. God! How much she hated this man.
If it wouldn't have been for the project, she wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place. She mentally cursed her dad for putting her into this.
Nathan cleared his throat to grab her attention. Katherine immediately turned towards him.
"I was wondering," He scratched the back of his neck.
"Hmmm?"
"I was wondering if we could go out this weekend. I mean a date." he asked hopefully.
She gave him a fake smile and replied "hmm...ok". And then turned back to the window.
It wasn't rocket science for him to understand that she wasn't interested in him. But he didn't have a choice, if he didn't make her fall for him Nicklaus would skin him alive.

Ashton's face lit up the moment Katherine entered his office. But his happiness was short lived as his smile immediately vanished as he saw Nathan Hyde walk behind her.
"Wallworks." he acknowledged.
"Hyde." he replied.
"It's good to see you again." Nathan smirked at his ex best friend. Ashton frowned at him.
"I wish I could say the same." He snapped at him making him chuckle.
Katherine could sense the tension in the air, but couldn't figure out what was going on. She was very sure that if she wasn't present there they would have surely killed each other.
She cleared her throat to gain their attention. Both men turned towards her. "If you guys are done glaring at each other, can we start the meeting?" She snapped at both of them.
"Ya sure." Ashton smirked at her, making her wonder what was wrong with him.
